Charming homestead with backyard chickens. Full kitchen and laundry room, plus enclosed front porch for entertaining. Just a short block walk from downtown coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and events. Street parking only. Please see rules for interacting with chickens.

GUEST ACCESS

PARKING: Street parking only. Guests may not use shared driveway or back parking lot out of consideration of our neighbors.

BACKYARD: Please stay in the gravel area. Don’t worry if our chickens get out of their pen, they always find their way back.

STORAGE: Most of the house is available to guests minus the back porch storage closet, hallway storage closet, utility basement, and a few of the kitchen cabinets that are locked.

OTHER DETAILS

NO PETS: We love pets, but please help keep our home allergy free for our guests and cleaning crew. If you bring a pet, we will ask you to remove it immediately. Failure to do so may result in eviction. Please note that there will be an additional cleaning fee of $100 per night anytime a pet enters the property. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding.

NO SMOKING: Please exercise your freedom to smoke outside of the home and porch areas. Please note that there will be an additional cleaning fee of $50 per night anytime there is smoking on the property. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding.

MAINTENANCE: Our mowing, snow removal, chicken keeping, and maintenance crews may show up during your stay. They will not enter the home without proper communication, but they do have access to the front and back porch, and may be on the property in the front, sides, and back yard.

This place was perfect for a home base while I was in town for 2 weeks. It’s well stocked with toiletries and having a washer and dryer was great. The house is well laid out and the couches are comfy. Communication was excellent as well.

We absolutely loved this house! It was so comfortable, and it was great being able to walk to and from dinner at night. It was also an easy drive over to WEC where we were competing. We will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this house. It had everything we needed. The neighborhood is lovely with convenient parking out front. We would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

Wonderful summer break stay!

The pictures online do not do this adorable house justice! It was so clean, airy and light and had SO much charm and CHARACTER! The kitchen was wonderful to use and we loved the chickens. Will stay again next year!

You will love this home. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We really appreciated the fresh eggs waiting for us from the backyard chickens! Check in was seemless. Our host was very responsive to questions and really appreciated feedback to make future stays by us and othrs even better. "Eggcellent" stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful VRBO property, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations!The location was ideal for horse show at WEC. The interior was tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds that ensured a restful night's sleep.Our host was incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We especially appreciated the local tips they provided.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a rental in Wilmington.Feel free to customize it to fexperience!

Classic restoration

This property was lovingly and skillfully restored and updated by the owner. As someone who herself has restored an 1880s Victorian in Michigan, I found his work impressive. Dustin's attention to detail, use of crisp clean lines & selection of hardware, furniture, etc. kept the charm of a small c.1900s cottage while making the home spacious and inviting. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The beds & bed linens were heavenly. Three international college students came for an evening and were impressed by the house and all that Dustin had done to update it. The comfortable sofas both in the livingroom and on the large enclosed porch were very inviting. I could say much more, but you get the picture.

Nice, clean place located close to the downtown area which was helpful as we were in town for the "Rock The Block" tribute band performances. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
