Summer 2022

We quite enjoyed our stay. When checking in, the ladies were wonderful and very helpful. The condo was extremely clean and well worth the money. We stayed at this same unit many years ago and the updates that have been done are very nice. We would definitely recommend staying at Summer Place .

The check in process was easy. The office communicated with friendliness and ease. The room was spacious. The location was close proximity to the beach too, which was importantly for us. There is a washer/dryer combo (one unit) available in the closet. It isn’t large capacity and takes two plus hours to dry, but it’s something. The floors were filthy when we arrived. There wasn’t debris, but there was dirt (discolored our socks immediately). We washed the floors three times before we could wear socks and even then no one went barefoot at any point during our trip. We also wiped down counters, the table, and the bathroom with Clorox wipes for extra cleaniness. The master bedroom did not receive sheets so we slept on top of a soft blanket and slept under the comforter. A plus is the unit was QUIET! We appreciated the quality of sleep we got. In other places, noisy neighbors ruin any change of peace. Absolutely no noisy neighbors here! The AC worked great too. The full kitchen is great for cooking, instead of eating out. However, dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes upon arrival. I washed everything before we used any plates, cups, and utensils. After a deep clean, we were more comfortable, and enjoyed our stay.

Bike week 2019

Easy online booking, nice balcony and location. Does not have an elevator and condo was on the top floor. As long as you don't mind stairs, it's a nice little place.

Great location and a lot to do close by!

This is a great property less than a block from the beach. I do think it needs to be updated a bit. Also, it wasn't as clean as it could have been when we arrived. However, everything was functional and comfortable. Overall, it was a good place to spend the week. I would certainly return again.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, despite it not fitting all your needs. We will gladly speak to the owner about doing some updates. Additionally, we keep cleaners on staff until 8pm on check-in days in case an issue like this occurs. As long as it is reported the day you check in, we are happy to send a cleaner to do a reclean. We have also spoken to the initial cleaner about being a little bit more thorough. We look forward to having you back!

I want to start by saying non of this review is nasty mean or rude. I don't want a nasty reply from the office or anything, I am not coming off mean. We are an easy to please family and very understanding! Truly just our experience/opinion. When u pay this amount of money and never see something b4 u do it's nice to have an honest review. Now will the place due, absolutely it will do it's not nasty dirty un-doable. It just needs a dang good cleaning. Like a good cleaning from scratch then the house cleaning needs to properly keep up from there. The floors are just so bad, our feet, black. I kept telling my kids to stay off the floor, now that part was bad. I don't want to have to worry about cleaning the second I get there bc it feels not cleaned. The sheets/towels smelt bad, they need thrown away and all the furniture needs replaced, most was broke unworkable. The walls showed what needed done with the place. Overall it's a place to stay, close to the beach, u can clean up urself to feel better about it use ur own blankets, towels and such. The balcony was amazing great view n just so big. The check in was ok needs to be keyless no one wants to have to go to an office. The place needs a deep clean and a hard update, sorry to say but I no the ppl that own this place do NOT live like that, so to take ppl money and let them live that way for a week is crazy! I could pick at a million things there but in all it comes down to the hole place just needing remodeled!

Excellent!

Property was in a perfect location, clean, roomy and just steps away from the beach, right in the center of Costal Highway so it was prime location for everything!

Good bargain

Overall very good experience, close to the ocean and everything we needed for the week. Only negative would be kitchenware ( pots, pans, etc) could stand an upgrade. Otherwise great deal and location

Great beach house in excellent location

This unit was great! It offered all the amenities we needed in a condo in a convenient location near everything, including the beach! The unit smelled clean upon entry but the only complaint was that it still felt sandy under our feet and the bath mats were soaking wet and needed to be cleaned. Two additional things to consider before booking is that it’s right on coastal highway so it was a little noisy at night with the cars driving by. Also, there is no elevator so we had to keep our beach cart in the car. I would rent again!

Little extra

Nice, but needs a little extra. Furniture especially needs updated. Terribly uncomfortable living room furniture and twin beds in second bedroom and dirty cushions on chairs in living room need replaced or better yet, new chairs. Extra cleaning also needs to be done.

Great place but a lot smaller than what is seems

It was a great get away spot. Beds weren't the comfiest and it was a lot smaller then what the pictures look but I had a great time.
