Bon Bida Flamingo is located in Hato, a residential strip north of Kralendijk, stretching from Harbour Village toward Sabadeco. The neighborhood strikes a pleasant balance between tranquility and convenience: during the day, beach clubs, dive resorts, and the northern shore dive sites are all within easy reach, while evenings bring the calm of a quiet residential setting. Restaurants and shops are just a short drive away, making Hato an ideal base for families and active water sports enthusiasts who want to get out and explore without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Bon Bida Flamingo. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Check-in to Bon Bida Flamingo is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
