This main floor, one bedroom unit in the Spruce Lodge at Timberline sleeps four. A great view of the ski-hill from your living room couch. Wake to the glorious sound of avalanche bombing, brew your morning cappuccino and pick your line down Skydive. Walk to the lifts in 7 minutes and ski back to your condo. Hot tubs, sauna, BBQ, ski lockers, games room and the Spruce lodge great room is just down the hallway.

small place but we didn't need much room. Great espresso maching and plenty of pots and pans/kitchen gadgets. Only complaint was the lack of shampoo/conditioner and the difficulty getting temperature of shower right. There was a tiny bottle of shampoo but the bottle crumbled into plastic bits when picked up. The views are amazing and we otherwise had everything a person could want! Thanks so much for having us.

Loved every moment in Fernie. Beautiful condo. View of the mountain is a wake-up call every morning! And the aprēs-ski in the hot tub is very welcoming.

Cosy vibes with lots of space

Very spacious living areas and well equipped kitchen. Awesome facilities like the ski lockers, sauna and hot tub.

A Stay In The Mountains

Short walk to ski!

Short walk across the street to Fernie Ski Resort. Condo had everything needed. Parking was easy. Simple but met all of my needs!

Our stay was fine though the place could use some upgrades for a more comfortable stay and for the rate we paid. Specifically the mattress and bedding did not meet expectations.

Another wonderful stay in Fernie

This is our second year my wife and I rented this condo at Fernie. It's clean and comfortable, with views of the mountain, perfect for my wife and I. It's very close to the lifts (7 minute walk, but we had a friend pick us up each morning!). We have already booked the same unit for next year!

Accommodations as advertised

The property was true to the listing. We enjoyed our stay and the location is great for quick access to the ski hill. We were there in late season and the snow at the bottom of the hill was mostly gone which made any ski out virtually impossible. This was not a big issue as it is a short walk back to the condo. Would definitely book this place again.

only 1 thing wrong

Everything in our suite was excellent. If I can say that the ONLY thing wrong was that there was no Air Conditioning. The weather was 37 degrees and the suite was very very hot. It did cool off a bit at night. There were 2 small fans in the suite but we had brought 2 of our own as well. Thank goodness.

Fishing Adventure

We found the unit to be exactly as advertised. The location was idea for our exploration of the area and it's close proximity to Fernie made it extremely easy to access all restaurants and services that we needed. The unit was very clean and comfortable and all amenities worked perfectly. The full kitchen was a huge plus for us. Even during 30+ degree days the unit stayed comfortable just by closing drapes and windows - as per the instructions. Nights were cool enough to really enjoy the lovely duvet's and blankets. The complex itself was quiet and we had no issues with neighbours, noise or parking. We would stay in this unit again, without hesitation. Most Sincerely. Joe & Emmett (Ontario, )

Mountain getaway at a great location

The condo was in a great location and was perfect for a little escape away from the noise of city or town. Condo is well stocked with dishes, cookware and a community spice cupboard. There is also a capichino machine. Nice touch! A couple minor fixes and this property could easily be a 4/5. The shower head needs replacing. It is calcified and what does work of it could pierce you in places you don’t want to be pierced! The tower fan is filthy dusty and the baseboards are also filthy. In our opinion the bed is far too soft but that one is tough to please everyone on. Overall I would stay again if I knew the minor things were fixed up/deep cleaned.

Kimberly thanks for your feedback. I was able to de-scale he shower head and cleaned the dust from the tower fan. The baseboards are cleaned as well, but need a little touch up paint (planned for the fall). The bed mattress has a built in soft top, which I concur makes it feel very soft.

Week day ski getaway

The property was great! Well Located with only a short walk to the lifts, great compact space with everything you need for a few days skiing. Sadly the hot tub closed because it was too cold (it was very cold so it was understandable!). We loved it!

Property as pictured except the snow!

Condo as pictured with amenities as listed. Quiet location . A bit dated ; runway lighting throughout needs adjustment. Location would be awesome in ski season. Some promotion of Fernie town would be a good idea for off ski season renters.

Nice unit and great location

The condo was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy a week of skiing at Fernie. It's close to skiing and has a great view of the mountain from the picture window. The unit was clean, well maintained and functional. We already reserved again for next winter.

I started skiing at Fernie in 1967 at the age of 6 years when the hill had just two T-bars. My wife and I have owned this unit for almost 30 years and we still use it personally throughout the year for skiing, fishing the Elk River, hiking and golfing getaways. In between our visits the unit is available for rentals.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Might have something to do with 875 cm of snow per year and the abundance of steep fall lines. The view of Skydive/Stag Leap/Decline was the closer.
