Another lovely weekend at the cottage! Shannon is an excellent host and the property is very charming. Good amount of wildlife around and just so relaxing. We are already planning our next trip back!

My husband and I rented Shannon’s cabin for our anniversary and it was amazing! It was so peaceful and the river along the cabin to fish in was perfect! We had everything we needed! Shannon was a great host it was so nice to relax and unplug for the weekend

More than we thought when we got there. Very peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. Very simple and comfortable, back to basics. Sitting on the porch was our favorite, quite and relaxing. You forget about everyday life staring at the beauty of the property. We thank you for our stay.Joe and cheryl.

Wonderful getaway trip! Shannon was super helpful and made our stay very comfortable and accommodating. The cottage is great, doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a new gen place, but it has what you need and offers peace & relaxation.

Very peaceful place to enjoy wildlife and to real relax. No tv—definitely not missed. We saw deer, wild turkeys, and fox. Would definitely stay here again.

If you love nature, peace and quiet, and rustic environments, you will love this little cabin in the woods. My girlfriends and I had a nice retreat from technology, traffic noise, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We saw numerous deer, turkey, & birds. There is some dust, and a spider or two, so skip this place if that is a problem for you. There is a ceiling fan over the double bed, but bring a fan if you like moving air for the twin beds in the front room. Shannon is very responsive and kind. I will definitely come back in the fall when it is cooler to get my “back to nature fix.”

Exactly what we were looking for! My son picked this spot out for a little mom-son get away. He loved the fishing right out the front door, being able to walk around the property, the wildlife, and even found a new favorite game (Chinese checkers) that was available at the cabin. The host Shannon was very communicative and we would love to come back again.

Very clean, excellent customer service, Shannon was able to work with me on the date I preferred to stayed for a weekend. I highly recommend a weekend at this property and I will absolutely rent again for years to come! My family absolutely enjoyed their time here!

We didn’t even stay. Once there I couldn’t turn my boat around. And my wife did not want to stay based on how unkept the overall property was. But the hostess was very kind.

Great cabin

Really quiet location but not far from 281, we had an amazing time out in nature and we were close to all the local activities, would stay again!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was private, peaceful and beautiful. If you don't like nature, you should stay in town. But for people like me that grew up in the outdoors and enjoy nature, this place is excellent. Not many places that you can see deer every day and listen to the wild turkeys gobbling while you are having your coffee. The A/C and heater worked well and kept the place comfortable. All in all it was a great place to stay.
