We had wonderful stay at MOM'S PLACE. The view of the lake is breath taking, and the coziness of the cabin was perfect for us. Every night enjoyed the woodburning fireplace to its fullest. Loved the interior decor, the cleanliness of the cabin and the superb bedding and lines. Lisa was great to provided us with so much helpful info about the area prior to our stay, in my search for a property I wanted a long-range view of Lake Glenville and a woodburning fireplace and this cabin was perfect.

This was a rustic, very cozy cottage, located in a private wooded area perched above Lake Glenville with a spectacular view. It was small, but clean and neat, and had plenty of room for the 2 of us. The owner was very friendly and very responsive to our needs. Detailed directions were provided as well as lots of information on the area and nearby restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at this North Carolina property and it completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, neat, and well-maintained the home was. It truly felt like a home away from home.What made the experience even more special was our host, who was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and responsive throughout our stay. Thanks to the wonderful accommodations and the peaceful NC setting, this getaway turned out to be one of the absolute best vacations we have ever had. We cannot wait to come back!

My family and I had an awesome stay at Mom‘s place! Lisa was extremely helpful and communicative. The cabin was very accommodating and well equipped. The view from the deck was second to none!! The view was what made us rent the place, and it didn’t disappoint. Very well located there are lots of hiking trails, towns, fun things to do. We will definitely be staying there again.

We stayed here for 8 nights for our anniversary! The view was stunning, the cabin was secluded and everything was as advertised! Highly recommend!!

Cozy cabin with beautiful view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing with a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the lake. We did a lot of eating in and the kitchen is well equipped.

This cabin was a find. Views off the deck just spectacular! It was a wonderful escape from Florida summer heat. Would rent again just for the view!

Great place for a quite get away

This property was exactly what we needed for a quite family get away over Thanksgiving. The owner was very helpful and we enjoyed quiet nights by the fire and the great local activities in town and in nearby state parks. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay in the mountains

This is one of the cutest cottages in the Glenville area! The property is very simple however the views are beyond breathtaking! The owner was super sweet and very informative on the property and area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to get back next summer!

We had such a fabulous time and what an adorable cabin! Plenty of room and great place to hike around cabin and lake views galore! great deck for grilling and hanging out with the family! Perfectly decorated and comfortable spacious cabin! Love it! will be back!!!

Our stay at Mom’s Cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy, spotless, and filled with warmth — you can tell it’s been cared for with love. The highlight was definitely the balcony overlooking beautiful Lake Glenville — the view was breathtaking at every hour of the day.We enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee while watching the light dance on the water, and quiet evenings surrounded by nature’s calm. The cabin had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds, making it the perfect mountain retreat.The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and made sure every detail was perfect. We left feeling refreshed and grateful — Mom’s Cabin is a true hidden gem by Lake Glenville!
