We were very happy with our stay and grateful that our dogs could join us! The host was very friendly, responsive, and provided us with recommendations during our stay. The home was clean and was just what we were looking for. Great option for a getaway for the whole family!

Nicely furnished kitchen and good bedding/linens. While the decor is totally vintage farmhouse, all the modern amenities are there except an inside dining table. Morning coffee on the spacious covered deck overlooking the iconic Driftless gave us a chorus of at least 30 different bird species including scarlet tanager and blue wing warbler.

Quiet and great views. Thoughtful decor and provisions. We stayed here with 9 folks, and we're all creatives so we were inspired by the nature views while we worked on our projects on the deck.If you're staying here with a group, you might want to bring a white noise maker! Sound travels easy in this cabin and the floors are creaky.They have plenty of plates, pots, pans, and other cook/dining ware. Everything you need :)

This cabin was an absolute gem and such a memorable family getaway. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a cozy, thoughtfully created retreat. The rustic details, warm lighting, vintage touches, beautiful woodwork, and wraparound porch gave the whole place so much character without sacrificing comfort.The setting was just as special. We loved waking up to fog rolling across the hills, seeing the horses nearby, and having so much peaceful outdoor space to enjoy. The porch quickly became one of our favorite places to sit, relax, and take it all in. Our dog was in heaven exploring the property too.Inside, the cabin was full of personality and charm. Every room felt intentional, comfortable, and welcoming. We especially loved the record player, the old signs and antiques, the cozy bedrooms, and all the little details that made it feel less like a rental and more like someone’s beloved retreat.Most importantly, it gave our family exactly what we were hoping for: time together, quiet, nature, laughter, and a chance to slow down. We were genuinely sad to leave.

Loved the vinyl and the views

Really fun place! We loved playing records from the excellent collection, and the views of storms sweeping across the valley were amazing.

Super cute place with great views. Very clean. Loved the record player and records and discovering all the antiques everywhere. Appreciated the live plants as well. Close to viroqua and reedstown.

Everything was absolutely perfect! From the seasonings in the kitchen to the bathroom accessories, namely the hair dryer, straightener, curler, etc- nothing was overlooked! The atmosphere was so cozy and warm, we felt like we were settled in the first hour we were there! The scenery was beautiful and rural. Would give this cottage as a recommendation with absolutely no hesitation!

Amazing!

The property was exactly as described, but you have to see the gorgeous countryside in person to really appreciate it. Absolutely gorgeous. This is a perfect place to stay to experience the Driftless Region.

Rustic charmer

Our family of 5 stayed a couple nights for a mini getaway from the city for Spring Break. Beautiful area to explore. House is cozy and full of cool antique decor. Sweet vinyl collection to listen to! Host was friendly and accommodating! Also happy our dog could join us. Thank you!
