Quaint cabin expertly constructed, well laid out, and nicely decorated to provide a nice relaxing space with plenty of amenities should you forget anything (i.e. coffee, toothbrush, toothpaste, snacks). The home has a bedroom, maybe with a full-sized bed that raises, a small loft with two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living area. You may want to bring slippers for climbing the iron-meshed stairs to the loft. The location is a serene atmosphere with a rolling river just outside your door. You can sit on a nearby park bench that’s shaded and on a private trail that overlooks the river, and rewind or fish. There is also a fire pit with plenty of wood and a propane grill out back along the deck. Everything is well kept, clean, and appears to be in good working order. Check with Don on the instructions to setting the living room heater if needed. Also, the sleeping areas face the rural road, so those whose ears are sensitive to the occasional speeding vehicle would be well-advised to use a white noise app which effectively minimizes the noise.
We did not make good use of everything since we used the place mostly as a base for our daily trips with our kids, though I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get away and relax. This was our first experience in a private rental property, and I can see returning in the future. A full-sized washer/dryer was a bonus that allowed us to clean our clothes prior to leaving.
