A quiet getaway that is less than a mile from Howard Marsh, and only a quick drive to Maggie Marsh, Maumee state Park and Meinke marina. It is in close proximity to a marina, with ample parking for a boat. Free boat ramp 7mi drive. This welcoming house will provide comfort during your stay wherever you decide to adventure: birding, fishing, swimming, or just relax. Home is pet friendly. No weight limit.

We provide a breakfast treat to enjoy during your stay along with your coffee out on the balcony or on the way to the Lake.
Possible early check in upon request if available.
The unit comes with AC, Wi-Fi.. Our VRBO is within driving distance to several popular parks. An ideal base to explore northwest ohio.
Linens are washed with scent free detergent.
Kayaks are available to use upon inquiry ($25/day)

The cabin was perfect for the two of us and my dog loved it as well. It was close enough to everything we wanted to see without being in a busy area. The cabin was clean and super cute. I would absolutely stay here again!

Super cute, very clean and the bread the host left was delicious! We had to cut our stay short due to family being hospitalized but I would 10/10 recommend and go back if we visit that part of Lake Erie again. It is super close to the lake and food and a little store.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Host was very responsive when we had any questions and very kind. Cabin is pet friendly with a good size walking area for them. Balcony is nice area to relax under the shade of the tree. Cabin provided plenty of essentials (toiletries, towels, detergent, blankets, pillows plus more essentials).

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Great location for birding, within 15 minutes of many marshes and Metroparks! Appreciated that it was pet friendly. Don’t sleep on trying Bono Tavern right down the street during your stay.

Great location for bird watching at the nearby marshes. I love the loft style of the house as well as the pine wood ceilings! We used the firepit, was nice. The balcony really makes the place look cozy even though we didn't use it.

The place was great for us. Cozy and quiet. We brought our dog and enjoyed all the parks that are within minutes drive from the house. The metropark across the road was one of the best parks we ever visited. We enjoyed the area and our stay.

We came to fish Lake Erie. The house was cozy and convenient to boat ramps. We enjoyed walking a few blocks to Bono Tavern after a day on the water. Would definitely come back.

Great birding spot

Our stay was really comfortable, but the best part was how close the property was to all the birding hot spots we wanted to visit! We will definitely be back!

This is an unique house that has a neighboring home that had been vacant for years. We are in the process of renovating it so that visitors can book a vacation with their family/friends. Be assured that no construction will be taking place while you are visiting. :)

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

It is close enough to route 2 to get to where you would like to go with ease. For birders and those exploring the outdoors, it is very close to all of the local parks Howard Marsh ( recently expanded), Metzger and Maggie Marsh. It is also close to Maumee Bay State Park that includes lakeside and a man made beach.
