The house was amazing! Very walkable to the beach. The sofas were comfy and the kitchen was great. The homeowners were great with communication.

I tried to communicate the below things to the host after our stay as I didn’t want to leave a review. However, I did not hear from them, so I decided to leave a review in hopes that these items could be addressed. The keypad code deactivated much sooner than 11am checkout. I’m not sure exactly when it deactivated, but I attempted to use it (I think around 9am) on checkout day and it was already deactivated. Luckily my husband was inside, but if he wasn’t, we would’ve been locked out of our rental early. Another thing is we had a little one with us and loved that baby items were included in the rental (much appreciated) but the baby gate was broken. It didn’t lock at the top of the gate. Just something to note as I would hate for there to be an accident for future guests.There also a strange underlying odor in the house. I’m not quite sure what it was, but we eventually became nose blind to it after staying there for a bit. But it definitely has a particular smell. There were games available, but all of them were in disarray. The baseboards of the house were dirty and much of the patio furniture is completely weathered. Added note: I’ve been going to Pismo yearly for the past twenty years and have stayed in a handful of rentals on the strand. Considering we spent 3,000, for two nights, I wish that the host would’ve acknowledged my outlined concerns.

Family Beach Vacation

This is definitely gonna be a repeat stay. This home was beautiful and in a great location, close walking distance to the beach. It was clean and equipped with everything you need. Even found time to enjoy the putting green in the backyard! Thank you Perry family!
