Our stay was relaxing and amazing! The cabin was everything that the listing stated. Spacious, cozy, and clean. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing. The bunk house was perfect for our teenagers. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Beautiful property with amazing private trails and fun fishing ponds for the kids. Downstairs and upstairs units are separate and require different access doors, but works well if traveling with multiple families. Unfortunately the gaming room amenities did not work, and the house WiFi was spotty, but that did not bother us much. The WiFi was mostly spotty because of a rainstorm that came through the last day of our trip. Some of the house is outdated and could use deep cleaning in certain spots because of the woodwork in the bathrooms. The bunk beds were fun, but needs repairing as the bunks were loose. The kitchen was fully stocked with what you need to cook with and had multiple appliances. The fire pit was fun for the kids and we appreciated tv’s in each room for the kids to settle down for the evening. The location is great, as it is close to downtown highlands and some great waterfalls, like sliding rock and silver run falls. For EV users there is a charging station close by (J117) at the episcopal church and a Tesla station at ugly dog pub. Overall, the property was amazing and the private trails on site were some of our favorite trip experiences. The hosts were great and super helpful and getting into the cabin was easy.

We had our fall family vacation here to celebrate October birthdays. Disappointed that the description of the cabin didn’t mention the upstairs and downstairs areas are not accessible from the inside. The living room or kitchen didn’t accommodate 10 family members so we ate all meals outside on the upper deck. Bathrooms were clean but lacked hot water at the sink in the loft bathroom. Host was quick to respond when needed.

Unique stay with tons of recreation at your fingertips

This cabin was just what we needed for our family. We loved the location being close to hikes and lakes. Got to explore the area a lot during our visit. It was quiet and comfortable.We had no cell service in the area, but the wi fi was great. My husband and my son both needed to work while we were visiting. My husband set his office up in the downstairs suite and my son set his up in the game room. Both were able to work without any issues. Host was responsive to our questions, and we found his guidebook helpful. We took the hikes on the private trails and really enjoyed them-- I recommend this place if you are looking for a central location to explore Cashiers, Highland, Sapphire in NC or Lake Jocassee in SC. We would rent this property again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful time! The home has lots of beds, the kitchen is very well stocked, and there are plenty of bathrooms. There is a lot to do in Cashiers. We really enjoyed the park, local waterfall walks and the brewery. We went to the Highlands Outpost for tubing and had a blast! We started the private trails but were not able to complete them in the winter due to needing waterproof boots for the river crossing. We wish we could have done this! Our kids really enjoyed the bunk house. A few things to know include the lowest floor does not have indoor steps to the main house in the 2nd level. You must use the outside steps. The kitchen/living in the 2nd floor is smaller than expected but we managed a full Thanksgiving dinner with 15 people. The lighting in the master bathroom is very dim. We had a couple of internet issues but Darin was very responsive to try and correct this. We had a great stay and loved the area.

This is a very well appointed property. Well stocked kitchen. There were two couples on this trip, and the property would have been adequate for both of our families, very versatile. Well located to Cashiers, waterfalls, hikes, golf, and the highlands area as well!
