We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this well appointed home. There were so many little details that made this place extra special. The beds were great! Derek's attention to detail did not go unnoticed. There was a lovely coffee station and baskets of toiletries in case you forgot to bring something. Derek's left info on were to go and things to do. It was a real treat to stay here!

The house was exactly as described and it was perfect fit for our visit to the park. There is a lot of attention to little details throughout the house that add to the stay. One of the best stocked houses we have stayed in. We will be repeat guests next time we are in the area.

I can't say enough on our experience at the cozy farm house. The house was very comfortable and will get you through any adventure you choose to embark on. The rooms were clean. The host was very responsive but we had no issues. The hot tub was used and worked great. Considering I grew up there as a child 40 years ago it still had its charm. The stay was very memorable for us. For all the things to do around the area, it is a nice place to stay. Thank you for keeping it around and taking good care of it. We shall see you next year.

This house was very clean and very well appointed. Loved the enclosed front porch to have coffee on in the morning. It also opens up to be more like a screened porch for some great fresh air! Also, there were many extras in the bathroom in case you forgot anything, from toothbrushes to hand lotion to razors and hairdryers! Overall I highly recommendation this farm house!

House was very clean and nicely decorated. The location was perfect. Easy to get to Summersville, Fayetteville, Hawks Nest State park and Babcock park. Our only issue was the upstairs A/C stopped working. Thankfully our host sent someone over quickly who was able to show us how to get it back on. One of the bedrooms upstairs was pretty warm when the temperature got in the 80s. The hot tub was very nice and the fire ring was great for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows.

From the proximity to Free Folk Brewing to the peacefulness of the fire pit, this house allowed our friend group (and pups) to feel right at home!

Perfect for two families. Eight of us total. Close to dining, shops, and park with wonderful hiking trails. It was a little hot upstairs despite turning on the A/C. An additional two window units might be needed for the summer but overall the house was wonderful and very comfortable. Thank you!

Hosts were very thoughtful about how they stocked the house and what they provided. We had such a great time enjoying the porch and the large table for board games. Great location for hiking and went to Gran Robbie’s in a neighboring town several times! Can’t wait until our next trip!

Nice house with a convenient location near New River Gorge

Our family stayed for a couple of nights at this cozy farm house. The property is clean and updated, with modern conveniences. The lot is large and we enjoyed the backyard space. Close to the highways and conveniently located, the area is amazing. Plenty of space to spread out.

Wonderful get away

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The newly renovated farmhouse is warm and inviting. It has everything you need to have a perfect def away. The house is near plenty of places to swim, fish, hike and explore nature. The house is a perfect place to gather for meals, hang out by the fire and hot tub. One of my favorite spots was the from cozy sunroom to enjoy morning coffee.

We came here for a family winter vacation. This was a charming place to stay! We not only enjoyed the accommodations but the location of the farmhouse its self. It was close to places like walmart and the small town shopping of Fayetteville. We enjoyed the views of New River Gorge, and the falling snow in Snowshoe mountin. There are plenty of places to eat as well. We had quite the adventure and learned alot about the history from this area. Wish there was propane for grill for the hambugers we bought but we made it work. The hottub and the firepit was exactly what we were looking for! Will be back again to visit durring a summer!

A slice of heaven in WVA

What a gem! Our family met here (geographically in between our north and south locations) for a week of togetherness and adventuring. The house has room for everyone! Beds and beds and beds — and they are all comfortable! We enjoyed coffee in the sunroom and a lovely evening around the fire in the backyard. Although it rained for a good part of our trip, we still had time to explore Thurmond, Nuttallburg, see some waterfalls, hike a little in Babcock State Park, and drive into the Gorge and under the Bridge. We explored downtown Fayetteville. And on rainy evenings, we played a lot of games around the big dining room table. We cooked every meal except one in the well stocked kitchen and kept the coffee maker working overtime. There was enough space in the house for togetherness but we never felt like we were tripping over one another. Great house. Great location. Great hosts!

conveniently located a short drive to many local attractions but yet wilderness enough to wake to a wild turkey one morning and deer at dusk another. The hot tub was a bonus after a day of hiking and rafting.
