I highly recommend getting the steak from the place on the listing. It is in the freezer when you arrive and was one of the best steaks I have had in years

We had a fantastic time at the farm house. Everything was exceptional and we only wished we had more time to spend there and enjoy the beautiful property! Would definitely visit again!!!

The home was beautiful. Our family and friends had a wonderful time and could not talk enough about the features of the farmhouse. The house was immaculate and the hosts were fantastic. We would definitely stay at this farmhouse again.

We loved our stay at The Old fashioned Farmhouse. The house had everything g we needed for our stay. Very nicely equipped. We really enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit. It was a wonderful end to our busy days visiting distilleries. I hope to stay there again in the future.

Perfect Farmhouse

This farmhouse was a perfect home base for our family vacation to explore horses and bourbon in Lexington and Louisville. It is beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. The hosts are helpful and responsive. We enjoyed how they had thought of everything we would need after coming back from our adventures to be comfortable and make memories together.

A Fabulous Place

Wow! The farmhouse was beautiful, scenery stunning, amenities great. Immaculate inside and out. Made our first trip to Kentucky a location we want to come back to! Beds were extremely comfortable, porches a pleasure to spend time on, layout of home excellent, and kitchen a thrill to cook in…not to mention the eggs and filet mignon from the farm! Thanks for sharing your beautiful spot!

Here's what I wrote my host: "THANK YOU again! Not only was the place just as lovely as last time (indoors and outdoors!!!)--with quality and serenity--but I soooo appreciate your consistency--I knew when I booked and when I was driving here that I could count on it being just what I wanted! Blessings on you and yours!!!" It was a dream come true to get back to that area and to that specific lodging! Yes, it costs a bit, but not nearly (from what I can tell) as much as many similar places. *And* though I was just one person, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a roomy kitchen/dining area, a family/tv/lounging room, an indoor back porch, an outdoor front porch (with swing!), a deck with grill (and table and chairs, I think), and beautiful, peaceful views in every direction! Straight sightlines to sunrises, sunsets, skies, moon, and stars! Oh! And two indoor fireplaces, one of which I used for hours each evening as I did some writing. 3

This property was perfect for our group of 4. It was quiet and clean. We utilized the kitchen, grill, fire pit, and the activity areas in the old barn. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed just sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch relaxing. During the day we would venture out to visit a distillery. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from the busy life to just slow down and enjoy the peaceful countryside.
