Very pleasant place near Indiana Dunes. The back porch is a particularly nice place to relax. Appreciate a nice house that is dog friendly!

Great stay! The place was incredibly clean and fully met all of our needs. Being dog-friendly was a massive plus for us. It took our pup about a day to adjust to the nearby traffic and train noise, but the excellent proximity to the park made up for it. Highly recommended!

The house was very nice and clean. Lots of toys to entertain children and the amenities were excellent. Proximity to the dunes and town was perfect. Only downside is the house is right by train tracks and a train comes by during the day every 30 minutes and at night every 2 hours, honking the horn due to the nearby road crossing and waking up sleeping children

The south shore electric commuter train to Chicago is listed in our description! It has Ben mentioned in many reviews. I’m sorry you did not read that.

Family of 4 and two pups. Beautiful place. Close to so dunes, shopping, great restaurants. Responsive and friendly host. You will be happy to stay at this place.

The home is beautiful and very clean. It is in an excellent location, close to IN Dunes National Park. We had a very nice stay and will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Very clean and cozy place to stay. Conveniently located from the park and everything to do in Michigan City. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone going to stay in that area.

Great location! This places was 10 mins from the Michigan City zoo/beach. Which was perfect for us as all the planned activities were 10 mins away. We appreciated it being pet friendly so we can bring our pups with.

Overall, well put together and the stay was very cozy. Everything that we needed around the area wasn't too far. Perfect place to stay . Definitely worth going back again. Thank you guys for letting us stay.

It is pet friendly. Provides items to use at beach. Loaded kitchen to cook. All towels for bathroom. Game room downstairs for kids. Amazing location friendly and quick response from host. Very homey feeling! Recommend backing in driveway for easy leaving. 100% will be back!

This was the perfect home base for a trip to the dunes. Everything was clean and instructions were clear. The beach and pet supplies were a nice touch. I was worried that the train would keep us up at night but it wasn't bad. The one thing that could make it better would be room darkening curtains. Would stay here again!

This was our second time staying here, and it certainly won't be our last! The property was exceptionally clean, super comfortable, and super dog-friendly—Watson loved it as much as we did. The hosts are truly amazing, thinking of everything you might possibly need to make your stay fantastic, including a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking dinner easy and helped us save on trip costs.This trip was all about rest and relaxation for me, my dad, and Watson. Michigan City is the perfect getaway spot. It's just a short drive to the Great Lakes, where the sunsets are breathtaking and you can even spot the Chicago skyline across the water. The South Shore Line is also super convenient if you want to head into Chicago for a day trip.As a bonus for train enthusiasts, the house is close to the Norfolk Southern Chicago mainline, offering plenty of fantastic freight action alongside Amtrak passenger trains. We had a wonderful time and truly hope to make another trip back to Michigan City soon!

Loved our stay! Was a great landing spot for us while we were out exploring Indiana Dunes with our pups. Close to everything we needed, including the winery we treated ourselves to during our stay!
