GORGEOUS doesn’t even begin to describe this house and the surrounding property! You can’t tell from the pictures, but it is literally two complete houses that flow seamlessly into one beautiful home. We rented this house instead of getting four hotel rooms for multiple nights for our daughter’s wedding. The home was perfect for us, our daughter, her bridal party, and her grandmother, as there was not only enough room but also the grounds were beautiful for wedding pictures and it was close to the actual venue (Butler Hall). I would love to return to this house during the holidays to see how it looks when decorated for Christmas!The only drawback was the initial communication with the host. This was his first time on VRBO, so he wasn’t used to checking the messages for this platform and we had to jump through some serious hoops to get check-in information. (Keep in mind, he is a super host on that other platform so he has the experience behind him of running a successful rental.) With this being our daughter’s wedding weekend, it was added stress that we didn’t need. HOWEVER, the property manager, Mr. Robert, and his lovely wife are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They stopped by to make a quick and then were on their way. All the pros definitely outweigh the initial con and we were very pleased with our stay!
