Great location, very clean and a great little kitchen. Unit does have a musty smell, common at the beach, but steer clear if you are sensitive.

This house is great for a small family (up to 3 or 4 people). We don't have any complains. The house isn't new, but it was clean, kitchen fully equipped, location is great (a short walk through pine forest to the beach). Although we were warned about mosquitoes, we didn't see many.

Great location. You can hear the ocean from the cabin, and it's a 10 minute walk through the woods, past grass dunes, and to the beach. Cabin was cute, clean, comfortable. Really basic, nice home base for getting out and about. Host was responsive and helpful via text message.

This unit could use an electrical upgrade. There were such few outlets and most were being used for lamps, tv, electric fireplace, etc. it was a challenge to plug in our devices for charging. Someone (different name for each message) texted us regularly to see how things were going and most of the time our answer was “fine.” There was a problem with where to park our car because of a street repair project that blocked access in or out of our “resort.” We did not learn of this until the day before our stay. When we asked for a suggestion on where to park so we wouldn’t be trapped for that first day of our stay, a text came back suggesting the public parking downtown which is 1.4 miles away! That was not a solution. We had to find parking on our own. The street project was obviously going to continue past one day. I texted to inquire if access would be blocked for the following days of our stay I never received a reply.

The nearby street work was approved by the city and was outside of our control, but we understand how important clear access information is. We worked to share available parking options and provide updates as information became available. According to the city’s schedule, access was not expected to remain blocked during the stay, and we always strive to communicate proactively when changes may impact guests. Our guest services team works together to ensure questions and concerns are addressed promptly, which is why messages may come from different team members.
