'Wildwood in the Pines' is a rustic log home with some elegant and unique features located in Jay, NY. This cozy cabin has pine interior, heated tile floors, and a beautiful rock fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, loft, two large bedrooms, family room with rustic bar, laundry room, two full bathrooms and a large deck makes this an ideal four season getaway for a family or a group of friends.

'Wildwood in the Pines' is located less than 9 miles from Whiteface Mountain and only a 20 mile scenic ride to the Village of Lake Placid and the Olympic Center Complex. Montreal, Canada and Burlington, Vermont are less than two hours away (great day trips!)

The High Peaks area of the Adirondacks offers many activities such as hiking, golf, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice skating, as well as shopping and fine dining in nearby Lake Placid. Fish in the Ausable River or swim in the famous 'Jay Swimming Hole'!

This quiet spot is also ideal for that much needed rest and relaxation. Read a book on the deck, take a walk, or relax in the whirlpool tub.

A beautiful place to stay, v quiet and relaxing. Stayed there during Ironman week, and it wasn’t far from Lake Placid and other activities in the surrounding area. The cabin had everything we needed, was very clean and more. Communicating with Lorri was super easy, she made us feel welcome and was always ready to answer any question we had. Highly recommended, watch out for deer as you drive to the cabin!

Enjoyed the cabin and its outdoor areas. All communications were very clear and helpful. It was a great location for exploring the Au Sable River area of the Adirondacks. Also, a nice drive to Lake Placid for a few visits there.

We had the lovely stay at this beautiful log cabin. Everything was spotless with a well appointed kitchen and linens. Highly recommend staying here.

We had the most amazing stay with wonderful heated tile floors and all the kitchen amenities we could ask for! The roads were well maintained with all the snow and we were close to all our outdoor adventures.

We absolutely love this cabin. It was our 5th time staying here. It is just perfect - the house itself is spacious, cozy, beautiful, very well maintained and everything we need is on hand. The location is so beautiful in the middle of the forest, safe for children to play, yet close to hiking trails, Lake Placid, and Whiteface Mountain. We cannot wait to be back next year!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and cozy. We let Lorri know we would be arriving at night and she left the lights on for us which was very helpful. Cabin is located close to shopping and hiking, and we enjoyed relaxing at the cabin afterwards.

The cabin was clean, well laid out, and close to attractions we wanted to visit. It had everything that we could need. The communication with Lorri, the host, was always quick and professional.
