From the moment we booked this location it was the smoothest process I've ever experienced. The Host communicated everything very clearly and pleasantly and it was an enjoyable experience overall. Everything was clean and very nice and it was really wonderful that we were staying in such a well maintained historic home. We didn't get to enjoy the nice back patio or enclosed veranda because we were so busy but it was certainly lovely to look at and we would like to do that sometime in the future. It was a great experience and if we have occasion to go back which we shall we would happily stay there again. I can't compliment the host and the home enough.

Beautiful place. It was comfortable and set up so our 9 person group could all socialize easily. Kitchen was big enough to prepare meals for 9 adults without running into others.

Great Getaway

Perfect stay

The house was adorable and full of charm. It was perfect for our fishing trip. Close to everything we needed and cozy and comfortable to come home to. I would definitely stay there again!

House with character

A house filled with character. Our family enjoyed it and my wife and daughter simply loved the back porch. It was close to beach, restaurants and other places. We highly recommend for family groups.

Fantastic home for large groups

We very much enjoyed a long weekend with our extended family at The Mermaid. The house is decorated beautifully, is very spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit.

House Filled with Character

This is a beautiful house filled with character. There's plenty of room for family and close to Galveston activities. The sceened-in porch was my wife's and daughters happy place. Highly recommended the house for families.

Charming
