The place was very clean. It was very easy to communicate with Jerry. Lots of things nearby but we only left to eat. The kitchen was well stocked. Grill worked great. Loved sitting out back and fishing. Neighbors were friendly. Can't wait to go back.

We absolutely loved our time at the lake. The houseboat was a new adventure for us. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. Jerry is awesome to work with. We will be coming back!

The property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. Jerry and Michelle seemed to anticipate our every need. There was even food in the fridge like ketchup and mustard, things you may need but not necessarily bring or want to go buy for a short stay. They made our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely want to stay there again next time we are out that direction. Thanks for the outstanding time we had at that quaint, peaceful houseboat.

The property had everything we needed and more. Very clean, updated, and fresh. The location was quiet which we enjoyed. Serveal spots to eat close by we took advantage of. Lounge chairs on back deck were very nice. The scenery in Morriston is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

This place was AWESOME I repeat AWESOME!! The location was unbelievable and the price OMG!! Book your stay you can thank me later. A great place to relax and do some fishing. There is even pontoon boat rentals very close.There is tons of local food places to eat, close to the mall, only 1 hour to Pigeon Forge, 30 min to the Smoky Mtn Deer farm, 25 min to Briarwood petting zoo. If u want to catch some nice striped bass book a charter with Captain Jay we killed to bass.

Had a great time at our stay in this boathouse! Easy access, great location, loved the fish and turtles and geese. Beautiful lake and great neighbors on the dock. Would love to stay here again…

The “boat” was spotless and relatively new. Pretty steep stairs going down to the dock. No problem parking. The slip number was hard to find but I did get it. Wouldn’t want to be looking in the rain. Easy to reach the helpful host.

Thanks for staying with me. I’m sorry you had trouble finding the slip number. You must have missed it in the check in instructions that the slip number is posted on the front porch post. But thanks for bringing it to my attention. If that problem arises again I’ll try and do something different

Peaceful, relaxing stay

Lovely little houseboat on Cherokee Lake. Located on a quiet and friendly dock. Everything about the stay was refreshing and it was very unique staying in a home on the water. The lake was very peaceful at night and the neck out back really helped unwind. Hidden gem of a place to stay.

Very cozy and great place to stay! We really enjoyed sleeping here during our family visit during Thanksgiving week. Jerry was very communicative and easy to work with. We had zero problems or complaints with the unit. As advertised, will come back!

Nice boat on a really Great Lake. Dock also has reasonably priced boat rentals. Neighbors are good people. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. Maritza loved feeding the ducks and fish while we grilled on the back deck.

Retreat at the Lake

I was here to stay near an ill friend and wanted a quiet place to unwind after being with her in the hospital all day. This gem was absolutely perfect. Spotless, comfortable, quiet, with the owner nearby and very responsive. I will most definitely be back.
