We had an amazing time during our stay. Host were so nice and welcoming. Place was very clean and perfect for what we were looking for. Definitely would book again!

We had a very relaxing restful time here. Felt home away from home. Very accommodating hosts and will stay again when we go back to the lake! Enjoyed our stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean, listing was accurate and the hosts were great and super helpful. We spent our nights hanging out and grilling on the covered patio and it was lovely. The boat ramp is close by and there was plenty of parking for the truck and trailer. There is a neighboring unit and we plan to rent both and do a family trip in the future!

Very quaint cabin with ample space for a family of 5. Hot water enough for everyone after a day in the lake, plenty of propane to cook with, and beautiful grounds. Will come back again.

The property is absolutely perfect for a peaceful getaway! It is perfectly secluded enough to not be bothered by strangers and the owners made sure we were extremely generous and welcoming! Fully 10 out of 10 rating!

Exactly what we were looking for

I can't recommend this place strongly enough, it is wonderful! I want to come back again and again. The area was very clean, the hosts are terrific, and it's the most relaxing atmosphere I've found away from home anywhere. I could have spent the entire vacation on that patio!

We had a great time! The cabin was perfect. Everything I expected and then some. The rustic cedar finishes are excellent not to mention the original tree table; cabin built around it… a must see for anyone. You could charge money just for that. The outdoor covered space is great too! Gary was an absolute joy to communicate with and just shoot the bull. You guys have a great thing going here. I can’t wait to see the other cabin finished. We’ll be back for sure!Mark and John

Crappie fishing trip to Mark Twain Lake

This was our first time staying at this property, but will not be our last. The hosts, Shelia and Gary welcomed us into their amazing newly built cabin. After fishing for the day, we went back to the cabin and grilled pork steaks on the covered patio, and watched the sunset.The location is central to the town of Perry as well as Ray Behrens public access. Gary even convinced us to try a different public access boat ramp which was just minutes away which was much more convenient and led to a different part of the lake than we normally fished.
