Sunny eco-friendly cottage steps from the beach!


This cozy studio features a Murphy bed, full bath, and well-equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, fridge, toaster, and microwave. Enjoy beautiful Penobscot Bay views and stunning Maine sunrises right from the deck—blinds are provided when you need shade or a nap.



Located right on Route 1 in walkable Lincolnville Beach, you're just minutes from sandy shores, restaurants, coffee shops, and a market. Explore nearby hiking trails, Mount Battie, and the charming towns of Camden, Belfast, Rockport, and Rockland.



The Ferry Cottage is sustainably powered by solar and climate-controlled with an efficient heat pump. Its open floor plan and large windows flood the space with natural light and offer views of Islesboro Island, just three miles offshore.



You’ll have exclusive use of the cottage with private keyless entry via August Smart Lock. The hosts live next door and are happy to offer local tips—or give you plenty of space.



Lincolnville Beach is a working waterfront with daily ferry service and a mix of fishing boats, delivery vehicles, and locals. Most nearby businesses are locally owned and friendly. The cottage is a short walk to Green Tree Coffee & Teas, Dot’s Market, and more.

Very cute cottage. In walking distance to beach, couple of coffee shops and a restaurant. There is street noise being so close to road, but was minimal from about 9pm-5am, however, the noise didn’t bother us. . My only complaint would be the full-size bed. Full bed for adult couples is just too small.

I’m so glad I found this place! The host communicated very well and did an excellent job with quickly responding to any questions I had. The property was pristinely clean, and the pins they leave is such a fun touch! We stayed here to break up the drive from Acadia/Bar Harbor to Portland and it’s the ideal half way point. I can’t forget that view from the patio either! I’ll be thinking of that view until the next time I come back. There’s a TON to do in the area as well between Camden and Belfast. I promise, booking your stay here is the best decision you could make. And they have a book to leave a thank you note, something I love to do with vacation homes. Book this place !

Wonderful Stay at Ferry Cottage

The Ferry Cottage is very charming and has a great view of the bay. The amenities are nice and the location was convenient to downtown Lincolnville.

A cozy and beautiful cottage with excellent ocean views! Jennifer was very communicative and kind. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. We did find the heat pumps to be quite loud in the space, and would suggest requesting or bringing a heavier blanket, as the one provided was very thin and we were cold even as New England natives. Overall a fantastic stay!

We had a lovely, quick stay! The view from the back deck is incredible. The place is spotless with cute touches and generous amenities. The host is very kind and greeted us when we arrived. Just know if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing a white noise machine and/or ear plugs as you are right on Route 1! Overall, such a great place to stay.

Road noise, even with ear plugs, was a lot. Did not like having thermostat control. Host was responsive to remote temperature change request. The curtains and lack of curtains allow in too much light from passing cars and the sun. The bed was smaller than I expected. However it was mentioned in the description. The home itself was very beautiful and cozy. Nice view. Loved the books and board games available in the home. You can tell the host takes pride in their property.
