House was in a great location for walking to different shops and restaurants in Harrisburg. I personally would choose another house to stay iif we come back to this city but it was okay to rest our heads here aand keep it moving.

Overall clean place but they left a very dirty sponge in the kitchen to do dishes with. Other consideration was the bedroom on the 3rd floor had an air conditioning unit that did NOT work. It was blowing, but not cool. We stayed in Aug and the highs were upper 80s & low 90s and sleeping was very uncomfortable because of lack of air conditioning. Bed was super comfortable though. Recommendation for owner-get rid of dusty blinds that are also broken around your place too as they seem dirty.

The property was spacious, clean, and in a great location with a lot of character! Communication with the host was always quick and friendly to get any questions answered. Parking can be a bit tricky (be mindful of parking near hydrants and crosswalks) but there was never an issue finding a spot within a couple blocks.

Nice place to stay for events at the farm show complex. Very short drive there. Parking at the house was a little tricky to find but certainly would not stop us from staying again. The house has plenty of room, was clean, and kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We would definitely come stay again! Thanks!

Nice property in mud town Harrisburg, very walkable neighborhood. Communication was great. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful little neighborhood. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we were fortunate to find spots within a couple of blocks each night.

Pros: very cute, spacious, good area.Cons: No designated parking, had to park 2 blocks away at one point. There aren't actually 4 bedrooms. There are only beds in 3 of the rooms and the air mattresses that were provided were inoperable due to holes.On the top floor the A/C wasn't working which basically eliminated another bedroom. Kids had to sleep on the couch. We were there for one night and it was fine. The 2nd day the power went out to half of the house, including the window a/c units to bedrooms. Plus no lights in bathrooms or kitchen. Tried to contact owner. Got zero response for 2 days. Had to go to a hotel cuz it was almost 100 degrees. Asked for partial refund and got an AI response and haven't heard anything since. If everything would have been working correctly I could have dealt with the parking and getting an air mattress but the lack of response to electrical issues is a big problem.

A lovely short stay

Loved the location and the property. We were happy to discover that it had more amenities and was better equipped than described. Space was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to the Capitol andocal restaurants.

Harrisburg row home

Great location for Harrisburg area. Walkable to riverfront, restaurants, etc. Quaint home, great value. The only hitch was a front door difficult to open but manager responded quickly to assist.

nice place. great location for what i was doing. seeing family and smallmouth bass fishing. 4 stars bc backyard was not dog or people friendly. but a close by park was very close. i would use again.

The place was conveniently located and had a lot of space. It was very comfortable for four people to stay and feel like we were not crammed together the entire time. The host was thorough on check in/check out information and we were able to get into the property without additional communication. The beds were very comfortable and bedding was nice. There were some areas that needed attention. The water flow at the kitchen sink was very low and there was no hand soap in the kitchen (only dish soap). The refrigerator was old, but stayed cold once we turned the temperature up. As others have mentioned, seats of several of the chairs in the dining room were not attached to the base and fell off. The knob on the second floor bathroom door is broken/almost feel off and does not lock. The biggest issue was cleanliness. There were dishes in the cabinets that were noticeably dirty and the bedrooms were very dusty on the floors. Our dog got a hold of a piece of chocolate that was under one of the beds. The backyard could use attention, too. The trees were overgrown and it was difficult to walk through. The porch is not screened in and there is a hole that leads to the street so the dog needed to be leashed at all times. Overall I would stay here again because the price was fair and the space was so large, but we just wished things were a little cleaner.

Comfortable For Concert

We brought the family up for the Damian and Stephen Marley concert! It accommodated everyone. It was great to a space to relax, eat, hangout, and have quality time together before and after the show. We Ubered to the Riverfront stage. Nestled in a quaint one way street, it was easy to access the Riverfront walkway. The only bummer we had was the backyard space was not landscaped for outdoor use. It would have been nice to have an outside option. A little trimming and cutting would allow for a nice additional option.We would stay again for other events.

The host was very welcoming. This is a beautiful historical house but it needs some attention. though the kitchen offers plenty of amenities, it could use a new refrigerator (water leaking on to the floor, inside door broken, no inside light). The living room and dining room could use better lighting. It was very dim and the shades were hard to open to let Light in. The host offered shampoo and conditioner in the showers, but the hand soap dispensers were all empty. Same for the dish soap dispenser in the kitchen. There were a few nails in the floorboards that would catch on your socks. The host states that the house sleeps eight people, but one of those beds is a blowup mattress. Very deceiving. The mattresses in the other bedrooms were very nice though.

Cozy, clean home close to pubs, restaurants etc. Our family had a lovely stay here. Communication with the host was great. Kitchen has it all - even a Keurig. Parking was never a problem to find. Very close to the river for a scenic walk.
