The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. We loved the fire pit and watching the sunrise over the mountains. It was quiet and we got to see some wildlife (lizards, rabbits, roadrunners, and a coyote).

Amazing place! It had everything needed to make a memorable stay. Hot tub for sunset and the fire for sunrise. I'd love to come back again!

Comfortable accommodation with incredible views! Plenty of towels and robes to wear for the hot tub. Well stocked toiletries, laundry detergent, and kitchen supplies. Having light switches labeled was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this stay to others.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to rent. It was better than the pictures. It was so clean, quiet and peaceful. My husband and I had such a wonderful time hiking at Joshua Tree NP and then returning to relax at the outdoor fireplace and soothing hot tub. The scenery was outstanding.

We had the best stay at the Rocky Roost! The house is adorable, decorated so nicely, clean, and super comfortable. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking and allowed for a great time to look at the stars. The views from the house were incredible. Thanks to Emily for giving us good instructions on how to get to the property – it is a little bumpy, but nothing too crazy. We absolutely loved our stay at the Rocky Roost and would look forward to staying there again for our next trip to Joshua Tree.

The total package.

Secluded but, accessable to a grocery store/"stuff" in under 10 minutes. Beyond amazing views. We off-roaded in Joshua Tree a very short and beautiful drive from here. If this spot is even available for your date(s) hit the BOOK button.

Great private getaway in the desert. Incredible views of the starry night sky from a well maintained hot tub. Perfect little fire pit with comfortable seating outside. The house itself has everything you need. Definitely need a car that can withstand some rough off tossing in order to get to the house and in and out of the driveway. The bathroom shower could also use a little retouching.
