The cabin was cozy with all the amenities that you need to have a great vacation. It was very quiet and just a short 20 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. I will look forward to staying here again in the future.

A nice place. Our only feedback would be that for adults who like to not love out of suitcases, the only bedroom with storage space is the downstairs master. The one bedroom upstairs with a closet is actually just an open space. No rod for hangers and no dressers. Other than that the place was great.

Cozy Stay

We had a great stay in the cabin. Six of us were on this trip and we all loved the comfort of Birdie Blue. The beds were all soft, the blankets and pillows were cozy and everyone slept well. The outside swing is the perfect start and ending to your day. The kitchen is set up with everything that you need. We saw deer at the end of the driveway one morning and a daily red cardinal visit. The host were very responsive and appreciate their guidebook they send you upon booking. If you want a fun little free place to visit go to Horseshoe bend park in McCaysville. During the week, hardly anyone was there and it was a great place to sit and relax while our girls played in the water. Take a lunch and enjoy the views and river and it’s only a short drive from the cabin. I can’t imagine how pretty Birdie Blue would be in the fall with the trees that surround the cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was super clean, comfy, peaceful and exactly as advertised. The hosts were very nice and responsive and the home had everything we could have possibly needed. Also (for any fellow bookworms), there is a fantastic swing on the back porch that was the best place for early morning reading! I would highly recommend this property and hosts to anyone wanting a luxurious yet peaceful place to stay.
