Above All (but One) … The name says it all…

Unmatched in luxury and location, our beautiful mountaintop lodge exudes quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail second to none, and spectacular views beyond compare!

Overlooking nearly the entire length of the Great Smoky National Park, Wears Valley, and Pigeon Forge, Above All (but One) is a custom built, true-log home, that enjoys unbelievable views from a semi-secluded setting at the top of Pine Mountain. Only our sister cabin, Screamin Eagle Lodge (VRBO# 903569), shares this exclusive location!

And nearly as spectacular as those views, is the home itself!
Massive logs, both inside and out; trim work that has to be seen to be appreciated; beautiful carvings, luxurious furnishings and tasteful décor all combine to make this a truly one-of-a-kind home, where no detail was missed!

Guests at Above All (but One) will enjoy sleeping in any of our 5 king-bed suites; each with their own private bathroom and outdoor access. Three suites have stacked stone surrounded soaker tubs in their private bathrooms, while the upper two have their own private balconies from which to take in the views.

But, these are not the only spots from which to enjoy a view. Whether gazing out of the expansive glass windows, or seated along the 1200+ feet of wraparound porches and balconies, guests at Above All (but One) are treated to unrivaled views and ever-changing vistas all day long!
There is something magical about watching the mist drift over the low-lying valleys before the sun rises over the Great Smoky Mountains to the east – to say nothing of the breathtaking sunsets that spread over Wears Valley each evening. After enjoying some drinks, dinner, and a game of shuffleboard or pool in our game-room, settle into the hot-tub to take in the stars above and the lights of Pigeon Forge below. Truly Amazing!

Very nice cabin, with plenty of space we enjoyed our stay but I will warn the drive is very rough and washed out so drive slow. The driveway up to the cabin is also very steep but it is the mountians so it was expected. The view of Pigon Forge is ok but the trees have grown up so it's limited. The view of the mountians is awesome and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a family reunion or a large group.

We are delighted that you had such a wonderful time at our home; it really is a special place with truly unmatched views! I am sorry that you had to navigate several ruts / potholes along the (1/2 mile) gravel road before reaching our paved driveway. Normally, the road is well graded and easily passable by any passenger car - but, unfortunately, our area was hit by MAJOR storms and flooding the weekend before your arrival! 4 inches of rain in a couple of hours caused a lot of flooding in the area. Of course, we didn’t have to worry about flooding at our elevation, but the deluge did carve a couple mini-streams into our road bed. 😳 We had our excavation contractor re-grade the road to smooth everything out and added new gravel in mid-August. So future guests will, once again, be able to reach our home without having to dodge potholes or ruts. 😊 We have also restored our exclusive view of Pigeon Forge from above ! We actually own the top 18 acres of Pine Mountain on the Pigeon Forge side. We purchased the extra 15 acres behind our home to preserve our unique vantage from any development - but some of the trees started to crowd that view over the years. We have just taken down a number of the “offending trees” to restore and widen our expansive view of Pigeon Forge below, while still preserving the beautiful natural landscape that people come to the Smoky Mountains to see! Again, we’re sorry for the (now repaired) bumpy drive you experienced, but happy that you enjoyed our home so much! We hope that you can return and enjoy our home and its beautiful views (from all sides!) again soon!

An absolutely PERFECT home for a week-long family vacation with adult kids and 1-toddler (13 ppl)! Excellent location for exploring Great Smoky Mountain NP, as well as Pigeon Forge.The views, especially sunrises/sunsets, were stunning!Game room & HT made for fun relaxation in the evenings.Other than trail lunches, we cooked all meals, and kitchen had all we needed. Host extremely responsive & helpful.When I go to GSMNP again, I know where I will stay!

Great Place to Stay! Fantastic Views!

Really enjoyed our stay here - very relaxing! Our teenage kids had plenty to do in the game room and fantastic views to wake up with. Easy trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will stay here again in the future!

The property was magnificent! The cabin home was amazing and beautiful, well stocked, and in excellent condition. Glenn, the host, was exceptionally nice and helpful with recommendations. This place was 5-star plus and we plan to return here year after year.

family getaway

The location of the property is great. The drive up to the property is a little difficult but the view is awesome! The house has plenty of room and Glenn is a great host who responds right away if there is a need or question. Highly recommend this place.

A wonderful week in the Smokie Mtns.

A group of six old HS buddies spent the week in this cabin overlooking the Smokie Mtns. The views were spectacular and the accommodations were very comfortable for six adults. We spent time hiking, preparing meals at the cabin and the last full day was spent enjoying the activities in Pigeon Forge. A good time was had by all!

Amazing Vacation Home

Beautiful Place!! Very secluded yet not far from all the action. Had a large mixed group of family and friends from 6 months to 67 years old. Had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves!! Your Private Biltmore in the sky

Absolutely stunning, roomy for a large crowd and so close to everything! You overlook PF on your own mountain top estate but a nice short drive down the mountain and you’re in the middle of all the action. Glenn is a fantastic host and highly recommend! We will book again!!!

Smokey Mt Splendor

Beautiful view from the deck. Definitely felt like we were in the middle of the Smokey Mountains. We had a bear come right up in our deck WHILE we were eating. It was frightening at the time, but a fantastic memory now!

We worked with our realtor for months, combing over every listing available. We literally toured dozens of properties - then we discovered this one! There was no going back from that point! Outside of our sister-cabin, Screamin' Eagle Lodge, this home has no equal in the area!

Unlike so many properties that boast of mountain views, our home enjoys the almost unheard of luxury of a mountaintop setting AND an actual flat yard from which to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! Our home is firmly attached to a real yard, not perched on stilts or sandwiched between dozens of other cabins. If a property only shows a closely cropped pictures of the outside or the view alone, you can be pretty sure what you can look forward to!

At Above All but One, guests can play a game of horseshoes or grill in your own private back yard.

Less than 5 miles to Dollywood, or 2.5 miles to downtown Pigeon Forge, yet worlds apart!
