Thank you for a perfect first visit to Eleuthera!We love the beautiful setting and location of the stone cottage because the beach was clean and pretty and also close to other lovely beaches on the island.Had everything we needed. Beach chairs and umbrella were wonderful. Kitchen was good for breakfast, lunches and dinners too. Tarpon dock has fresh fish about 2-4 pm ish daily but you never know exact times and fish selection.

Beautiful place! Make sure there’s no construction going on when you stay. This was not communicated when we book our stay. We went there with full intention of privacy.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. The construction project was actually an unscheduled outdoor repair that ended up needing more than a simple fix. Instead of a few hours, it took the better part of a day. We have 2 water systems at the house and our back up system required a repair. Even though the back up system did not affect your water, it’s essential to provide a back up when we rely on catching water for our cistern and a fresh water well. These 2 water systems and the addition of a whole house generator covers guests in our remote location. My sincere apologies this repair occurred during your stay.

This was our second stay at The Stone House. It is a simple one room cottage with a comfortable bed and a spectacular porch on three sides of the house to enjoy morning coffee, bird watching, reading, and simply taking in the beauty and peace all around. The kitchen is equipped for simple meal preparation. The additional outdoor shower is wonderful.We love staying here because of the location, at the quiet end of Double Bay, which is absolutely magical for walking, swimming, reading, knitting and snoozing. Leigh Ann is a fabulous host!

We absolutely loved everything about this stay! The grounds are so pretty and lush. The wraparound porch truly makes this the perfect house. The private path to the beach is beautiful. The beach is gorgeous and secluded. The house is well-appointed and clean! All of the rave reviews are accurate!We've stayed in a handful of homes in the Bahamas and this was, hands down, our favorite. We hated to leave ...

Perfect anniversary

This is a wonderful property. Very clean, comfortable bed, very short walk to a beautiful beach. We loved the privacy, and the outdoor shower.

Lovely space in a beautiful place

Stone cottage was perfect for my wife and I during our stay. We loved the private beach and the central location on the island. Would 100% recommend to others.

We had such a great stay, the Stone Cottage is cozy and adorable! We used the kitchen quite a bit and found that there was everything we needed to cook a variety of meals. The porch is beautiful! Internet signal is strong and reliable. While there isn’t a TV, an iPad or laptop would provide some evening entertainment or maybe even a mini projector on one of the porch walls. Staying on Double Bay was dreamy, it’s so nice being able to just walk down the path and you’re staring at crystal clear water! You’re close to restaurants, great beaches if you want to venture away from Double Bay, and the care taker was excellent. I would definitely come back!

Long-awaited beach vacation

Wonderful place to rent, well-stocked home and appreciated the beach supplies very much! Our beach was always private, we loved the wraparound porch and outdoor shower. A perfect vacation!

Secluded area. Private Beech. All week long... only saw one other couple along the entire beech line! Met that couple and socialized with them as 'our neighbors'.

Phenomenal!!

Wonderful first trip to Eleuthera. Cottage was perfect and well appointed. Wonderful wrap around porch and lovely grounds. The beach was beautiful and very private with awesome snorkeling opportunities. Anne was very accommodating and responsive. We would highly recommend the cottage and can’t wait to return next year!
