Its a really nice place. Can use some updates. I did notice that the sofabeds cover have some stains that look like its really old. But everything else was nice and calm.

This place was awesome. The resort is super cute with a lake, waterfall, multiple pools, putt-putt and a clubhouse with pool table and table tennis. Many things to do here and super close to Helen. The cabin itself is so adorable, and the people in the community are very nice. I learned that the resort was recently purchased by a new family, and they are working on fixing up certain amenities such as the water slide among other things. I have high hopes for this resort in terms of pending upgrades and will definitely be back to Rosters Inn!

Everything was great, our host help us with all we need and more, she was kind and very informative about things we could do around. The Cabin was cozy and clean, We really enjoy our time there.

The cabin was very well set up.Everything we needed. Wish we had a dish drainer though for drying. There were electrical issues. The power flickered numerous times and tripped a breaker. Great location and very quiet.

April weekend stay

Very cute cottage and great location to enjoy the surrounding areas. Also, the resort the cabin is located had added benefits for things to do. We went to a few beautiful wineries and did some hiking. Such a beautiful area to explore. The well maintained cottage and its layout was a perfect place for our stay.

Family vacation

We had an amazing time staying in Roosters Cabin. It was just the right size for our family and close to Helen where we spent most of our time. My only complaint is the bed was hard but other than that everything was perfect! My husband and I are planning on booking a trip just me and him in the future!

Wonderful stay, great proximity to Helen, family friendly. Cabin clean and beautiful with extra amenities making your stay very comfortable. Slight hiccup arriving, passes were not at gate however I was allowed in and country store happily provided passes the next day. Everyone on the grounds very friendly, stables and trail riding were also enjoyed.

Excellent location!

Excellent location, close to both Helen and Cleveland. Amenities close by. Very cozy, small cabin... Would recommend for couples. Only suggestion would be that the bed is extra firm, so renters be aware if you like a softer bed. Otherwise, very clean, very tidy, adorable decorations. And quiet area

Very cozy. Stocked and orangized with everything that we needed and more with great storage. I was able to cook because the kitchen had all the utensils I needed. The cabin was actually alittle bigger than I thought. Me my husband and child stayed here with no space problem. Nice community. Me and my family enjoyed our stay.

It was a fantastic get away

The resort offers so many things to do. And, the sheets and comforter on that comfy bed were so luxurious that I really never wanted to leave it! It was the perfect long weekend stay. We even visited Helen (in like 8 minutes) a couple of times - when my husband would drag me out of the super comfortable bed! We even made friends with a neighbor’s kitty while outdoors, and she was also fantastic! Everyone at the resort was super friendly! Bought a Mountain Lakes Resort shirt at the country store that I might not take off for weeks! I can only say - this was our PERFECT get away trip that we have needed for literally years!! Definitely recommend it!

Overall, we had a decent stay, but there were several surprises that I wish had been clearer in the listing.The cabin itself is absolutely adorable, very clean, and well maintained. The shower was wonderful, although the hot water didn't last very long. There was an abundance of towels, which we really appreciated, and there were thoughtful hospitality items left behind by previous guests that came in handy. The cabin is also conveniently located just a short drive from Helen, Georgia.The biggest surprise was the location. The listing describes it as a resort property, but it is actually located inside a campground. The cabin sits directly in the middle of a large group of campers and RVs with very little space around it. The campground residents were some of the nicest people you could meet—they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If I had been looking to camp in a camper or tent, this would have been a perfect place. However, when I rent a cabin, I expect a little privacy, some yard space, and more of a secluded, wooded atmosphere.Another disappointment was that none of the advertised amenities are included with the cabin rental. Activities such as horseback riding and the other resort amenities all require separate reservations and additional payment. We also had to purchase resort passes in advance just to be able to leave and re-enter the property, even though we never used a single amenity. I think this should be made much clearer in the listing so guests know

The Rooster Inn Cabin was cozy and very well appointed. It provided everything we needed and more! It was quiet during the time we stayed 8/20-23/26, even though the cabins/RVs are super close together. The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed the pool after our 9 mi hike at Smithgall Woods State Park. The location was ideal for visiting Helen, many wineries, hiking, water falls and restaurants. We highly recommend Ol’ Clyde in Cleveland. It was the best burger I’ve had in years!! The resort itself needs some updating and maintenance, but the cabin was excellent.
