Great property for our large hiking group! Property management was a little strict about the basic supplies like paper towels and toilet paper with only having a fixed amount for the weekend, but besides that it was a lovely property!

The home is beautiful, clean, and spacious enough for our family of 11. It was nice to have the downstairs living room area as well as the upstairs living space to enjoy. The proximity to Fall Creek Falls is great!

Very clean and welcoming! Set in a lovely area, easy to find, while we had ample room to roam, a larger party would also be quite comfortable. Loved the game room, wine cooler and large kitchen area!

Our stay for the new year was great! Our family of 14 had a wonderful time of celebrating Christmas together here! The house was the perfect set up for us with plenty of room and fun activities! The payment process through VRBO does not make sense to me... I would recommend contacting the rental company directly.

Our stay at Hemlock Haven was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. You can truly tell the hosts put so much thought and care into making guests feel comfortable and at home. Every detail was considered!The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable — honestly some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling. We also appreciated the abundance of extra towels and all the little touches that made the cabin feel welcoming and stress-free.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed, and the coffee bar was such a treat each morning. The beverage fridges were another thoughtful addition that made it easy to keep drinks organized and cold for our whole group.We loved the terrific assortment of games and activities available. It created such a fun, cozy atmosphere for our baby shower with out of state guests and relaxing evenings together.Hemlock Haven is the perfect blend of cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Pikeville

The place was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of open spaces and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked! There were multiple games, a ping pong table, and an old school video game. They had so many extra amenities such as multiple refrigerators, a stocked mini fridge, a hot tub, and a complimentary bottle of wine! We couldn’t recommend it more. We loved staying there!

This is a great property with ample indoor/ outdoor space for a large group. The interior looks like an HGTV set with a gorgeous kitchen / living area. We also enjoyed the outdoor space spending time on the covered deck, hot tub, & lovely fire circle. The multiple fridges in the kitchen, on the deck, upstairs, & wine cooler made grabbing a beverage convenient. Also convenient to FCF State Park which our family has visited for years with many great memories. Host was very responsive to requests. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

This house is perfectly set up to create memories. Our family of 13 spent a long weekend at Hemlock Haven. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was well stocked both for cooking and for entertainment, inside and out. There is even a game room upstairs! The best thing for us was it's proximity to Fall Creek Falls. Unlike vacations in the past we only had to drive minutes to our adventures. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay for our multi-family gathering, with loved ones traveling from Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, and Virginia. From the moment we arrived, the thoughtful touches made us feel welcome.The home was perfectly suited for our large group. Ample seating indoors and outdoors made it easy for everyone to gather. The covered storage full of firewood was a great convenience for our outdoor fire pit evenings, and the beautiful rock hardscaping added so much to the property’s charm.The bunk room with six beds was vacation heaven for our five granddaughters. The color choices throughout the home complemented each other beautifully, and the interior design felt very well thought out. The charming moon shutters reminded us of something our woodworking father might have made, and the carved tree signage added even more personality.Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us and for helping our family reunite. We would happily stay again.

Great location just outside Fall Creek Falls State Park. Beautiful home with nice amenities including welcome wine, soaps, waffle iron, dog treats, insta-pot, rice cooker, and Blackstone grill. The upstairs media/game room was enjoyed by kids and adults alike, especially with abundant rain during our stay. Our group of 9 spent a lot of time on the outdoor porch, even in the rain, but quickly learned shoes should be left away from the entry door or indoors as the roofline between the house and porch are not fully adjoined. Possible negative for some people might be the main floor full bathroom, which is located between 2 of the bedrooms with king size beds. This bathroom opens to the kitchen/living areas and often served as the main bathroom during the day. Also, be aware that the dishwasher automatically opens after cleaning is complete, so if the dishes are not completely dry, there may be some water on the floor.We did experience a musty-sewer gas smell but brought it to the owners attention. . And although we inquired with the host about the availability of specific cookware with a detailed list, as requested, all we received was “3 frying pans -no Dutch oven no muffin pans no loaf pans - There is 2 glass casserole kind of small.’ Turns out this was way off and we were pleasantly surprised to find much more on site.However, it would have helped to know this beforehand. We ended up purchasing many items that weren't needed. So that’s why our review wasn’t 5 star.

Location was great, it was close to the park and plenty of room for all 13 of us to hang out after a day of hiking the trails. The kids loved the upstairs and the adults loved the hot tub! We will use this again if we come back to the area!
