Great location! House was kept in good condition. Fresh linens and towels. They supplied a starter kit for your stay which is very helpful and nice. Great communication throughout the stay and during booking. Would definitely recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: a great house in a magical place....

Contacted host concerning several lights that had burned out bulbs and never got response. Master bathroom lights did not work. Instructions stated empty dishwasher before departure which we did. Upon arrival, dishwasher was full of dishes which we dealt with.. We thought kitchen could have been cleaner including counter and island tops which were very grimy. Again, we dealt with them appropriately. Clothes left behind by previous guests in ground floor bedroom which we did not touch. Not sure what the practice for cleaning the comforters as they were left on beds. Would have been nice to have been informed of their cleaning.We love the convenience and location of Sunset Island and will certainly consider it for next year's family vacation.

Absolutely Amazing Stay at Sunset Island!We had an absolutely incredible stay at Sunset Island in Ocean City, MD. We rented the 5-bedroom home, and it was the perfect size for our entire family. The house itself was absolutely beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great family vacation.The resort was by far one of the best places we’ve stayed in Ocean City. There was so much to do for the entire family, with different events and activities throughout our stay. Our 3-year-old especially loved the bay beach and honestly preferred spending time there over the pool every day which was a huge win for us!One of our favorite parts was the walking trail around the island. We made it part of our morning routine and walked it every day. It was such a peaceful and beautiful way to start the mornings.We did have one small issue during our stay with a couple of the kitchen lights burning out, but the response was immediate. They came out and took care of it right away, which was really appreciated.If I had one suggestion, it would simply be to give the floors a deeper cleaning between guests. That said, it was a very minor issue and absolutely did not take away from what was otherwise an outstanding stay.5 stars all around! We had a fantastic family vacation, loved the house, loved the resort, and loved the location. We would 100% come back and stay at the exact same place again. Highly recommend Sunset Is

This house was perfect for my family! We had plenty of room for everyone. The location was great! We loved the convenience of the pool, beach, fishing pier, location to attractions, etc. The screened in porch and balconies were well utilized to gather. Everyone felt safe and comfortable. We would recommend to anyone and would return in the future! The screened in porch did need a little attention. This is solely based on a chair that was broken and sticky floor.

Very nice house. Like the key code entry instead of keys.Some in our group made use of the gym, pool, and bay beaches. Felt safe to let pre-teens and teens walk on their own. Kitchen could use more mugs, silverware, cooking utensils, and potholders.Six passes for a house that accommodates 12 is odd, so we took turns to avoid the expense of more passes. Other parts of the island would be a closer walk for the ocean, but it was doable.

The house, overall, was great! We had lots of comfortable space for our ladies retreat. The location is amazing and ideal, we rarely left the community. Communication with Rhonda was very good and she was responsive to my requests and needs. We had some issues with bed linens being stained (yelllow and red splotches). She helped us quickly address it. I would say the only major criticism was the cleanliness of the bed linens (comforter and pillows) and some of the shower liners had mold on them. But overall we had a great time in the house ans enjoyed ourselves!

We had a wonderful time. The house was clean beautiful comfortable. It was a fast easy walk to the pool and many private beach areas on the bay. We walked or drove to the beach / ocean. We cooked a lot and had most everything we needed. Bring pot holders if you remember. The drier had a minor issue which e called Benchmark properties about and it was fixed instantly. I highly recommend this home. Sunset Island is an incredible family friendly resort. We will be back!
