Charming 2-bedroom house in peaceful Carthage with AC, WiFi

We have been renting this home for years. Prior to this review we have never received anything other than a 10/10. And on the “other” platform we are a Super Host as one of the top rated rentals in the area. A FULL, not partial refund was given for complaints about cleaning. When we checked the home ourselves afterwards instead of sending the cleaners, many of these complaints do not add up. Comments on TVs not working (we have a new 3 thousand dollar living room TV that was working perfectly fine). We have exterior security cameras which do not face the home for privacy purposes and are there for our protection of the property when the home is empty. As nearly all short term rentals have exterior cameras. Our neighbors are unbelievably friendly people who mind their own business. Again, for years I’ve never heard of such comments. This is an extremely disappointing review to read as a full refund was given for cleaning that was not corroborated. We take a lot of pride in this home as it was built by ourselves. I hope that future guests can see past this review as it not indicative of the stay or the stays of hundreds of other guests across platforms.
