Could not ask for a better location. Very stylish, smart unit with beautiful touches. Host very responsive and helpful. All we wanted within walking distance.

This rental was the perfect location to walk out the door and enjoy the best of Blowing Rock! Beautiful decorated, plenty of space, comfy beds. The host was very attentive and helpful. We loved our stay and will keep it in mind again when we return.

Consistently the best place to stay in Blowing Rock. Rent both units for family gatherings or just one. The condo has everything you need onsite to make your stay the best ever! Every detail has been thoughtfully curated. Keep your car parked the entire visit and walk to eat and shop. Excellent communication by the host. A true home away from home!

The location cannot be beat! You're right next to the brewery and wine shop, plus there are so many restaurants and shops you can easily walk to. The front porch is great for relaxing and people watching. The unit was very clean and comfortable, and seems very new and updated. The bathrooms came stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap/lotion, and the kitchen had the appropraite dishwashing and laundry supplies. The only negative is that there's a unit right next door, and it sounded like the people walking down their hallway were clomping down our hallway for hours at night when we were trying to sleep . So beware of this if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, this is the perfect place to stay. It was me, my husband, and two kids, and this was the perfect setup for our family. Will be booking again (and in fact stayed on the other side last spring and loved it too)!

A terrific place to stay. Beds very comfortable. Shower was awesome. Best part is the location, literally at the center of Blowing Rock. Having a dedicated parking spot was great. Rained almost every day so we had some fabulous walks in

It’s a beautiful apartment, will definitely stay there again. Consider a few more amenities, and be on top of the parking!!! I’ll be back!

Excellent in every way!

We loved Walkabout B. The hosts at Blowing Rock Properties handled above and beyond from start to finish. The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect! We can't wait to return!

This is a great unit in a great location. 1/2 block from main St, next door to Blowing Rock Brewing and the wine bar.It was really nice to have a cocktail on the front porch, overlooking Sunset Dr, and enjoy the amazing weather. Inside the unit was very clean, floor plan was spacious, and the master bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Lovely property in incredibly convenient very clean. The only wish she was the beds. The two twin beds simply need to be replaced altogether and especially the frames. They move all around. They squeak through the night and the mattresses are bowed.The large king bed is sort of nice, but I think it’s the variety that’s basically foam and well. It’s just OK. Let me put it that way, but other than that the place was really lovely.

We are glad you enjoyed the property. Unfortunately, mattresses are a personal preference and it is hard to please every guest with their preference. We are not able to guarantee that a mattress will be to your specification.
