This excellent home features 3 queen beds and 1 sofa bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ellie (owner/host) was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Spacious and well-equipped newer home. We slept very well and comfortably in the primary bedroom. Location was convenient - to Blowing Rock and to Boone - and we were able to enjoy restaurants, shops in both places. Grocery stores were about 10 minutes away (toward Boone). Home and furnishings were very comfortable. The home is very quiet inside, unfortunately, there is a lot of traffic close by (Rt 321) which was too loud for us to enjoy sitting outside. But the comfortability of the inside is excellent. Another nice aspect was they provide a lot of towels and sheets that are of nice quality. And they provide coffee pods and espresso pods with a mixspresso which was a real treat.

The property was absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable, and spotless. It was clear that a lot of care has gone into making it a great place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.The only thing worth mentioning is that the driveway is not for the faint of heart. It’s manageable, but something guests should be aware of, especially if arriving or leaving after dark. Other than that, everything was fantastic, and we would happily stay here again.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. Enjoyed the full length deck. The decor was delightful. New construction not finished. Coffee bar very well stocked. The worst park was the driveway. Treacherous.

Property renovation was great. House has a nice open concept downstairs and a well stocked kitchen. We cooked most our meals and had everything we needed to do so. Highlighted for us was the great space on the decks. I highly recommend going to the upper deck to enjoy a wonderful sunset over the mountains. Smart TVs and WiFi were all up to speed and they have a closet full of games if you came the mountains for reasons other than staring at screens. I do recommend getting out and looking at driveway before you first go down just to get the lay of the land. Overall the house was great. Did a good job of updating while maintaining the mountain feels we all travel for. Located just off 321 between Boone and Blowing Rock. Be sure to park at the trail head just below the house and hike the trail up to Tweetsie Railroad. Nice 30 minute walk along a small river with a coffee food truck halfway

This is a beautiful, modern home. It is clean and spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked and the fireplace is warm and cozy. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Rhododendron Ridge! Beautiful cabin with all the amenities we needed for our stay and great views! Ellie was quick to respond and give us all information needed for a seamless check in and out. Recommend four wheel drive for snowy stays but luckily morning of there was a resident or hired worker on a four wheeler with snow plow which made getting in and out much easier/safer. Would def recommend to anyone staying In the area.

This is a beautiful cabin located perfectly between Boone and Blowing Rock. Easy trip to App State to visit our kids and attend a football game! Beds super comfy, quiet neighborhood, and peaceful views!

We loved this house. First time we have used a repeat rental on VRBO. Owners are very kind, quick to respond, and house is always perfect. Great location perfectly located between downtown Blowing Rock and Boone.

Loved how it was decorated for Christmas. Liked that it is new and clean and close to App State. The host was very responsive. Backing our vehicles into the driveway, at night, while it was snowing was a bit of a challenge....Besides that, it was a great place.

Beautiful property near Blowing Rock attractions

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Rhododendron Ridge! The home was well appointed and just a quick drive away from downtown Boone/Blowing Rock. In the cold weather, it was just lovely to sit by the fireplace and enjoy the excellent views.

This was a great proprty close to town. You do need a four wheel drive or at least a higher car for the driveway. The bedrooms had plenty of space and the couch was a great place to relax. The owners were good communicators and we had a great time. They have put a lot of attention to detail to make the place really nice. Thanks for a great weekend.

We loved this house and it was perfect for our family! The location was great for us and we would stay here again if in the area! The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking so easy while we were there! The deck was so nice for morning coffee and I saw a deer and her baby walking by one morning! Beds were all super comfortable and the host has thought of so many extras everywhere in the house!
