We loved our stay at The Hansell House. The house and amenities were perfect for us, while the property was a great distance from downtown. Without reservation, we would highly recommend the Hansell House and book it again in the future.

It was a great house. Pictures are very accurate. Plenty of room for 3 families - plus kids & a puppy! So so happy with our stay.

The house was PERFECT! Only thing was having just one shower at times was hard. Were in town for my sons wedding so it was great bc stay was 5 days. Host was just awesome and responded quickly. Most everything we needed was there. I would definitely recommend this property!

The Hansell House is a very pretty and historic property - just like Thomasville itself. There is so much more room than you would expect and the modern amenities made the stay a delight.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was so clean and cozy and the hosts have thought of everything you will need to enjoy yourself. We loved the comfortable beds and we felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel with the bedding! We will definitely rent this house again! Easy seemless check in and check out!

Beautiful house with a lot of character; really neat floor plan. Kitchen has everything you need. Very close to downtown Thomasville. Clean, spacious, and great for a family. Driveway is a little narrow, so be careful backing out!

Adorable house, inviting and so comfortable. HIGHLY recommend. Location walkable to downtown. If you have never been to Thomasville it's a perfect weekend get-away. Plan to come back another time!!!! Thanks so much!

This is a wonderful, comfortable property in a very convenient location to the historic district and other sites. It was spotless with many thoughtful touches. We brought along a lot of sundry items that were provided, which is unusual, in our VRBO experience. The bed was comfortable! We were thrilled to be able to bring our little dogs. The immaculate fenced backyard made us feel safe to take them out, day or night. There's also a cute outdoor patio, but it was just too hot for us to use it during this stay. Every appliance worked! The historic nature of the home and the furnishings and artwork were beautiful. If you have mobility issues though, this is not the place for you. There is an elementary school directly across the street. School was not in session when we were there so I don't know how that would affect the noise levels. It was quiet and peaceful when we were there. Thank you for a wonderful place to lay our heads! We appreciate you sharing your lovely home with us. We'll be back!

Hi! We're Madi and James, your hosts during your stay at The Hansell House. We’re both originally from Alabama—James went to the University of Georgia, and Madi went to LSU—so things get fun around here during football season!

We moved to Thomasville in 2021 from Alabama and quickly fell in love with the small-town charm, sense of community, and slower pace of life. We live nearby and love sharing our favorite parts of the area with guests. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, we hope you’ll fall in love with this town like we have.
When we’re not hosting, you’ll find us working on home renovation projects, grabbing coffee at our favorite spot (Pasco Coffee Shop), or hunting for antiques.
