A beautiful log Cabin that is large enough to have my family with us over Labor Day week end. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful pool, a large deck with grill for everyone to eat outside. Great walking trails near the property for hiking and having fun. the property is a great place for the children to run, play and swim. In the evenings, we enjoyed a fire at the fire pit , made s'mores, and told lots of family stories.

This was the perfect cabin to spend outside.

The cabin was very secluded. We could not hear anything except the birds. We spent most of our time on the huge deck overlooking the property. We were a week too early to enjoy the pool but we fished in the ponds and made good use of the fire pits. Very relaxing.

We’ve been lucky enough to stay at this cabin 3 times. Great location to get away.

The large gathering places. We have a lot of guys and some other places don’t have the space for all of us to hang out in the same area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cantwell prairie! My only riff with the weekend was the grill was not in working condition and the tvs need dvds in order to work since they are blu-ray connected! If I knew these things prior to arrival I could’ve planned for it and the trip would easily be 5 stars!

Absolutely amazing stay! The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing and making memories. The most perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring Hocking Hills!

This cabin was everything we could've dreamt of! Legit. Girls trip, 4 days. One of the girls brought her 4mo baby, the guest house was perfect for them so we didn't keep each other up all through the night. Plenty of space, the pool was perfect, hot tub was everything your sore muscles could ask for, 2 fire pits, 2 fishing ponds (next time we will come prepared to fish) and a trail in the woods for the early birds to wait for everyone else to wake up. We can't wait to make this an yearly trip!

The cabin was in a beautiful location. It was set on 40 acres of lush Green grass woods and two fishing ponds the drive to some of the most popular trails and the state park is approximately 30. We’d liked the isolation in the scenery. The Home was medically furnished, however, there is an issue with the oven in the main kitchen. It did not work properly. It took forever to bake something. I am assuming there’s something wrong with the temperature gauge. The property was not as clean as it should have been. There was about an inch layer of dust in the vent in the bedroom upstairs. I would highly recommend attention to detail to the appliance in the cleanliness of the cabin. There were no hair dryers in the cabin. We looked in all three bathrooms, as well as the guest suite. Unfortunately, we did not bring our hair dryers, assuming their some just small things could make this location much better and more affordable based on its price.

Beautiful & roomy

The cabin was very nice, clean, & had plenty of room for everyone. Location was perfect. We absolutely loved it and plan on coming back!

Great for families

This a great property for a family weekend. Very nice cabin that’s close to popular hiking trails and was a great winter getaway. We plan on visiting again in warm weather to enjoy more of the activities available in the summer.
