Quiet and close to Cedar Point. It was the perfect location for our adventures. We've never been disappointed when rent from this VRBO Host. Keep up the excellent job.

The cottage was very comfortable in the way that a Lakehouse cottage should be w quirks. Big front porch was nice. There’s a great opportunity for the back patio area to be upgraded into a functioning space. The host Doug was accommodating and checking in was a breeze. Cedar Point Dr. is always pleasant to drive on, one of the best roads in OH.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The rental itself was great for a weekend stay and, while slightly outdated, kept very clean and accommodating. It provided a good view from one side, and an even better one if you walk across the street and climb the rocks (be careful!). Though the parking situation was a bit tight/confusing as a result of the number of other rentals in close proximity. Despite that slight inconvenience, I would certainly recommend a stay at this property.

The owner was incredibly accessible and answered all off our questions promptly. We had everything we needed in a very convenient location. We were even granted permission to use the laundry machines which was very kind.

Great Small Cottage

If you’re looking for a low key lake cottage that doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but everything you need, this is the place. Great access point to local attractions: Cedar Point, Sheldon’s Marsh, Downtown Sandusky, in town to Huron, etc. The place stayed incredibly cool despite the hot, humid temperatures outdoors. Definitely plan on staying again!

Overall not bad but definitely not good, would not rent again.Pros: -Communications was.good -Easy to findCons: -Not clean, like the type of place you don't want to take your shoes off-No reasonable access to water, just a view with cars from neighbors parked in the way-Very dated, borderline disrepair, floor tile in the bathroom are coming up, mildew around tub/caulk, ceiling tile sagging -Definitely overpriced for what you get.I rent vrbos regularly and would usually text the owner with needs. This place was much more than a text would fix. Needs a serious deep clean and a total makeover/renovation. I hope this review helps both the owner and future renters.

We had a good stay at this quaint cottage. It was clean and enough space for our family to enjoy. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and the sports complex was very close. It could use some updates or a fresh coat of paint in certain parts. The only reason that I'm giving it 4 stars is because the beds were hard and I woke up sore every morning. Luckily I had my own pillow or I wouldn't have been able to function. Other than the bed issue, we had a great stay. Wish it would've been warm so that we could've enjoy the outside view of the lake & the patio

The bathroom was very tiny and the light switch on the wall across from the entry door was a little frustrating because we are used to the switch being right at the door, but that was the only thing that stood out.It had adequate space and amenities.

Visiting Cedar Point

The property was REALLY well positioned for quick access to Cedar Point. The bathroom was significantly small (not pictured in the posting) and the posting photos make it appear that the house has a backyard on the water - it does not. It is squeezed tightly between two houses. The owner did a good job with reservation and communication.
