2 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath Charming In Town Apartment with Great Jungle View Deck!

This very special apartment is located on the edge of downtown Isabel. Such an easy stroll into town for shopping, dinner or drinks. This is a lower unit built into the hill with a lovely deck that overlooks the jungle arroyo. Though on the “main” road, one is below, creating a great sense of privacy. Sit out on the deck where you can watch the iguanas in the trees while having morning coffee and listen to the melodies of the coqui frogs at night! The 2 bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment ensuring privacy which each having close access to a bathroom. AC in all rooms plus reliable WIFI. Bose speaker in the apartment for your tunes.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a local bar that is ONLY open on Friday and Saturday nights. Their music is Loud until 2 AM. Earplugs are provided.
Beach towels, 3 beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler is provided for your enjoyment.

Family of four. We needed a place to stay for a night and this was a great place. Very clean, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and grocery shops. I would stay stay there again.

Lovely home with a very responsive host. Place had a beautiful jungle view and a nice cool bedroom for sleeping. Perfect for our short stay

The location was ideal! Very spacious and unique and was great to have snorkeling equipment, beach towels, flippers provided. The location definitely makes you feel in the jungle with all the wildlife noises day and night but that was an experience in itself.

This place was awesome! Just a one night stay for us during the week. The deck was great!!! Place was very clean and functional. Would stay again anytime! Paula was super helpful.

Loved the balcony and looking for the iguanas each day. The coqui frogs at night were also fun. Nice location. We could walk to restaurants and groceries, which was great for us!

super close to downtown Vieques so very convenient for picking up groceries and getting dinner. The only beach on this part of town is Seaglass beach, it's about a 10 min walk. The host was very communicative.

The apartment was lovely! Strong AC in the bedrooms, charming coquí sounds at night, lots of wildlife visible from the patio. The beach towels/cooler/snorkeling gear came in handy for the beach. Staying here on a weeknight was ideal

The host and cleaning staff were extremely quick to take action and courteous when we arrived and realized the apartment hadn't yet been cleaned. The apartment is beautiful, and the private waterfall next to the balcony is truly incredible! I'd recommend this place to my friends.

Paula was fantastic. She was so quick to respond especially when we were trying to find place. She spoke Spanish to cab driver to be sure we got to rental and then asked us to let her know when we got inside.

We really enjoyed our stay overall, especially the beautiful porch — it was our favorite part of the property and such a relaxing place to unwind. The home has a rustic feel, which added to the charm. A few things to note for future guests: parking is across the street and requires crossing a fairly busy road, and there are fairly steep steps immediately after you enter the property. The location is also on the more local side of the island rather than in the more touristy Esperanza area, which worked well for us but is worth noting so others can plan accordingly. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in a unique spot!

I am so sorry to hear about the cat, mosquitoes and spider! Leaving the patio doors open for prolonged periods of time will invite unwanted guests. The cat is a first! Eek!This property sits in a “jungle” setting, There is an electronic mosquito “zapper“ provided to get rid of any mosquitoes that have been let in from leaving the patio doors open. Those doors do not need to be left open to fully enjoy the space, inside and out on the deck. The apartment is fully screened. Side note, you left your car keys and were off of Vieques when you realized this. I drove them to the airport here and had them flown over to you. No good deed goes unpunished obviously. That said, thank you for your stay and I apologize again for these avoidable inconveniences. Nothing is more important to me than my guests having a great stay at my place.

Great little game lace. Secure and comfortable. Only issue was noise. The coqui frogs and birds were a delight, but the party noise from the bar across the street and from various dudes with their car stereos, made it hard to sleep.

Thank you so much for your stay! I’m so sorry about the Bar music, my listing specifically states that the Bar is only open on Friday and Saturday nights which was when your visit was. That it is loud. Yes, also on those 2 nights some like to add on with their car music. It is a party time. I do supply earplugs, they are right on the bedside tables. But again, my apologies. I strive for my guests to have a great experience. Sadly I have no control over the bar.

This is your place to stay on Vieques! The inside of the apartment far exceeded what we expected. There is a nice secluded balcony where you can sit and listen to the coqui or wait for the iguana to lay on his branch directly in front of you. The street where the apartment is on has several restaurants including Mama Mia's, a pizza place that rivals anything found in the continental US. Be sure and stop at the breakfast place across the street Piu Bello that also serves gelato.

La propietaria fue muy hospitalaria, amable y precisa, y tuve comunicación con ella siempre que lo necesité. Creo que se podría mejorar la limpieza y algún mobiliario que necesita ser repuesto como por ejemplo las lámparas de la mesitas, quitar las flores de plástico que acumulan polvo, etc… También estaría bien reponer las toallas de casa y las de playa, muy deterioradas al igual que las sillas de playa, aún con kleenex en los bolsillos de otros usuarios. Por otro lado, las goteras propiciaron que, un día de lluvia, entrara gran cantidad de agua a la casa e inundara las escaleras de la entrada.

Our host was amazing. Don’t let the exterior deceit you! The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The place was quiet and relaxing. I’m happy to have chosen this place to stay at my mothe’s home town! We will definitely be back for more days, God willing.
