Great little cabin with a beautiful view, owners/management team are very helpful and quick to respond to you. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning with my coffee watching the ducks and loons. Thanks for the great stay ❤️

Graduation Stay

We stayed for a graduation ceremony and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. Check in was flawless, the communication with staff was on point, and the views were amazing. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect!

Every detail, down to the smallest was perfect! The host are very responsive, the views marvelous, robes to wear to the sauna are provided and even firewood for the fire pit is available! The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was as beautiful as it was comfortable!!

Alaskan Charm

Wake up from your cozy cabin to the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucille. Enjoy coffee on the porch, take a walk or jog around the lake, jump in the dry sauna, or partake in some water sports. This quaint place has plenty of great things to do! The hosts were always on call for anything we needed. Stillwater cabins are located in the heart of so much to do in Wasilla and neighboring towns like Palmer, Butte, and Eagle River -such as glacier landings, ice climbing, and zip lining. We hope to be back next year and stay a little longer!! It was a trip of a lifetime!

Comfy getaway for the family

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The view was amazing and having the ability to use the sauna or have a night fire added an extra touch. Any questions were answered quickly and we had no problems during our stay. You're close enough to any necessities but its on the outside of town to give a quiet peaceful feeling. We heard the train one night but it was quick and truly didn't bother us.

Relaxing Lake Stay

5-stars all the way! The Sockeye cottage is amazing, beautifully decorated, stocked with all you need for an amazing stay. The grounds were beautiful & watching the ducks & loons from the huge glass windows or front deck of your little cottage was perfect! The staff were very attentive & responsive to any questions! The ability to use kayaks, paddle boards, float tubes, and even a peddle boat to adventure around the lake at your leisure were such a perfect addition. We sat around the lovely fire pits roasting marshmallows, laughing, & watching visiting families amazement that it was still light at midnight. lol. And the barrel sauna??? Perfect after a day of hiking in Hatchers pass! This has now become our official lodging spot for visiting friends & family. I believe I’ll even book myself a staycation! Bonus points for allowing pets too, there were several cottages with their furry friends! We will be back!!!

Cozy and comfortable

Drove up from Anchorage for a short getaway and was greeted by the beautiful view of lake Lucille with ducks and other birds! After watching sunset from the deck of my cabin, took short walk to Bearpaw Brewing for dinner and drinks. Woke in the morning to the scene of a gorgeous winter wonderland as it snowed lightly while I slept. It was as expected and better! So comfortable and cozy! Thank you ❤️

Stunning Cozy Retreat!

We stayed at the Stillwater Cottages during a wind storm that left our home without power or water. Our cottage was such a special retreat in the storm, and was a clean, cozy and beautiful space to hide away in. The sunsets over the lake were stunning, and our space felt so private and calm. We spent many hours in front of the inviting fireplace! Colleen and Mark truly thought of everything you could need, and you could feel their personal and intentional touch throughout the cottage. We didn’t get a chance to try out the sauna, but we know that would’ve been the icing on the cake!

This lakefront cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband and I with our new baby and our pup. The space is so well designed. We loved being inside as much as out. It had everything we needed!
