We had a great stay in your farm house. Home and grounds was clean and well kept. The cat came to greet us on the first day and never became a pest. The bath room was something else? I grew up on in the Roberts farm home in Minnesota and was glad to have indoor plumbing.Thanks for having us.Bob Roberts

We wanted a place that was private and a bit away from the lakes and this little house fit the bill perfectly. We'd highly recommend it. It's an easy drive to get anywhere in the lakes area and Spencer so it was a great fit for us.

The property was very clean, well maintained. The only issue was the bathroom size, it is very small. It could use an outlet and a towel rack or hooks.We will definitely recommend to others and when we come visit our daughter in Milford we will try to stay again. The animals were a great bonus; cows, a dog and kittens etc. While staying at the house we also got to witness God's beauty with an amazing sun set.

This was such a charming little country home to stay in!! The perfect amount of space my husband, 4 kids (23 yr old, 16 yr old and 19 mos old twins), and I! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and being away from the Okoboji scene out in the country was the perfect ending to each night! ALSO, we loved hearing the cows!! We got to meet Cole, such a friendly host! I would most definitwly choose this property over and over again!! Only about a 20 min drive to Barefoot and all those fun spots, and same for many restaurants in the surrounding areas. Perfection! Thank you again to Cole and family for letting us stay in your cute guest house!!

Property IS charming! Decorated in eclectic, vintage style.Quiet Country location 5 miles out of Milford not inconvenient. Felt safe; Gravel roads some of the way.V comfortable with full working aircon.Two large (king?) comfortable double bedsBathroom is tiny / congested, and has no plugin.Consumable supplies were a bit low and depleted, and not replenished, which surprised us as our booking was for three people for 13 nights.

Great location for kids! They can see the farm animals, and the owner's cat and dog are very friendly! An actual 'out in the country' location.Also a great location for peace and quiet and an unlimited horizon.This is an old farmhouse, so you cannot expect all of the modern day conveniences - actually nice for relaxation.Only drawback is the tiny bathroom. But remember, this is an old farmhouse, and it was probably a pantry/closet makeover. Reminded me of my grandparents' old home!
