This property is very nice at the nd of a dead end road .I would recommend this property to anyone .The hosts Jen and Matt are very nice and make you feel welcome. My nephews and I stayed here and had a great time no complaints whatsoever

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is beautiful and peaceful here. I would highly recommend it. The hosts are fantastic too and so very nice.

We loved our stay so very much! It was a perfect get away during a family wedding close by. Jen and her family were so welcoming and accomodating. Their farm and home are just beautiful and my kids loved visiting the animals. Coffee on the frosty mornings on the deck was so dreamy. We will be back again to explore the area. A short drive to Honey Creek State park and wonderful hikes.

This was a excellent place to stay out of the way

The property is very well kept up, you get a little family farm feel, we had a great time sitting on the deck watching the fish feeding a couple of friendly cats joind us for just a few minutes. We spent most of our time on lake Rathbun fishing and enjoying the lake life.

My husband and I decided to go on a little getaway, for which we found this place. Our initial reasoning was to come wiper fishing at Rathbun, which was our first time there! We had to do the minimum booking of 2 nights but unfortunately could only stay 1 night. Jennifer was generous enough to let us do an early check in Saturday morning as we've been driving all night coming from the Twin Cities, MN. This cabin was private, cozy, and so relaxing. We loved the private pond, we couldn't get enough of it. A little spacious for just 2 people but still enjoyable. I have 5 children ages range from 11 years old to 6 months old. Our kids would've enjoyed this stay if they came! Definitely will have to bring them along with the next time. Loved the farm animals near by. Small local town within a few miles for any shopping needed. Couldn't open the garage doors to utilize the space with our truck or boat but that was ok as the weather was fairly nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will most likely book here again!

Exceeded our expectations

The whole property is very well kept and has a peaceful, relaxing feel. The back porch overlooking the private pond was definitely the highlight, it was incredibly cozy out there. The owners had even mowed some small walking trails for us, which was a thoughtful touch. We were also visited by a few friendly farm animals (mostly two adorable cats), which was the cherry on top for me. This place is a hidden gem, and I will definitely be staying again next time I'm in the area.

Stayed here with some fishing buddies so we could fish at Rathbun. The property is great! You'll love the private pond and quiet location. Owners live onsite but they were wonderful hosts and had a beautiful property. Lots of room for parking the boats and the unit was clean and was an awesome spot for us.
