This four bedroom, two bath property is just under a mile from Roger Wheeler State Beach and under half of a mile from Rhode Island’s famous restaurants, Iggy’s and Aunt Carrie’s.

This property is professionally managed by Ann O’Brien Realty servicing southern Rhode Island for over 40 years. Our team is available to you seven days a week as needed.

4th of july

Upon arrival the house has cobwebs every where and smelt musty like nobody had been there in awhile. The outlets only the bottoms worked the air was mino splits and all the bedrooms were extremely hot. All that being said we had a great family vaction. The property manager was very helpful.

Worst Rental Experience We’ve Ever HadI would absolutely not recommend this rental. The house was filthy when we arrived — cobwebs in every corner, beer cans under the furniture, a dirty bathtub, and mold in the showers. It felt like no one had cleaned before our stay.The condition of the home was equally disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable, the blinds were broken, and we were given only half a roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms. Many of the utensils and pieces of furniture were broken as well.The outdoor space was unsafe. The deck had nails sticking out, missing spindles, and the area underneath was full of garbage and beer cans. Even basic security was an issue — the sliding door didn’t lock, and we arrived to find the front door left wide open.When we called to complain, management said they would “speak to the owner,” but after looking at older reviews, it’s clear these same issues have been going on for years without being fixed.Overall, it felt more like rough camping than a beach rental. Definitely not worth the cost, and I would not stay here again.

Great vacation House

Had a great beach vacation with my kids and parents. Great house , plenty of space and close to all the beaches and restaurants in the Point Judith , Narragansett RI area.

Great location, needs alittle upkeep

The home was very clean when we walked in. Plenty of room for my family of 5, with an extra a couple of days. Close to the beach, yet not a convenient walk with all the normal beach stuff. So we got a beach pass and it was a 5 minute drive. Only negative would be the screen doors and closet doors wouldn’t stay on track in the bedrooms. Which was more of an annoyance. But overall a nice, close to the beach stay for the money. In a nice quiet neighborhood.

Kitchen is not fully stocked.

My family and I stayed here in August 2022. The house was nice size and the neighborhood was good. However, the house has not been cleaned well in years, the kitchen was not fully stocked, there wasn't even a measuring cup, no lobster pot. The screen doors were not on track and kept falling off. The property manager stated they would be there on the Monday to fix screens and never showed. Overall we had a good time, but we rent a beach house every year and cook a lot, I was disappointed because they said "fully stocked kitchen" and it wasn't. Not to mention the oven was smoking because there was so much grease in it bubbling on the bottom. Needless to say I will not rent from these property managers again.

Very Disappointed

This property was DIRTY. I don't think it's been "deep cleaned" or just well cleaned, in YEARS. On the day we moved in one of the toilets was not working which they knew, but the owner did not send a plumber until Monday afternoon! We had 8 people and one toilet for 3 of the 7 days there. The one working toilet reeked of urine! We bleached, and scrubbed it but it still stunk. We had to keep the bathroom door closed the entire time. We rented a 2 bathroom house because of this. When we arrived, the door was opened so we did not learn that our keys were not the right ones until we came home from the beach to a totally locked up house with no working keys. The downstairs tub had a shower curtain that had mold all over it and a very rusty shower rod & rings! There was sand all over the baseboards, cobwebs everywhere, dirty screens and no closet doors in the bedrooms. There was dust, dirt and hair in all corners of the rooms. The back slider lock was broken, the sliding screen doors had to be duct taped to keep from falling in. The steps to the basement were filthy as well. This home sleeps 8 people. They had a 5 cup mini coffee pot with a ripped grind basket and a 4 slice toaster that only worked on one side. They also had a hand mixer with just one beater and a can opener that did not work. There is no gas grill. The deck furniture had to be scrubbed clean before we could use it and one of the tables was so moldy we could not use it. I realize this is a just a beach house, but I expect it to be clean, if nothing else. I have stayed in much older houses that were spotless! I paid a cleaning fee even though my sister and I had to clean it before we unpacked. The owners need to do some work and upgrade their kitchen appliances. Also, the bushes are over grown onto the deck and out by the road, making it difficult to see when exiting onto the street. I would definitely not recommend staying here to anyone unless all these things are addressed first. (I have pictures of the moldy shower curtain and dirty floors, baseboards, screens etc.) The house was cleaner when we left...
