🏖️ Beach Access (Easy Walk or Bike!)

Eastern Lake Beach Access – 0.35 miles
A short, scenic walk or quick bike ride away. This access sits beside a rare coastal dune lake with beautiful views and gentle entry points.
Amenities include a shower, bike rack, and a few parking spaces on Eastern Lake Drive.
It’s calmer and less crowded—one of our personal favorites!

Ramsgate Beach Access – 0.50 miles
A simple walkover located near the end of Eastern Lake Road, behind the Summers Edge neighborhood and beside the Ramsgate townhomes.
This access does not offer parking or showers.

Walton Dunes Beach Access – 1.10 miles
Located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary, this access has a small parking lot but no bathrooms.
There are no steps—you walk straight onto the sand.

The house is great, didn’t know kitchen was upstairs ( it may have been in the description in the listing ) and that was hard for me since I’m still recovering from knee surgery. The cooking materials provided were great. Would have appreciated a few more trash bags ( Maybe we just didn’t find them). The parking to go to surrounding areas was very hard and frustrating. We also didn’t realize the beach access was with walking across the small river ( I’m sure there is a better term for it ) to get to the beach area. Overall, we had a great time and went exploring to Panama City and Destin. The pool was so nice. Thanks ! Shelley and Alex and fam.
