As hosts, we are always available and responsive, and we welcome the opportunity to address issues in real time when guests notify us. Unfortunately, we were not given that opportunity in this case. All communication regarding these concerns occurred after checkout, at which point there was nothing that could be remedied on-site. Additionally, a request for reimbursement was made after the stay, accompanied by a statement indicating a negative review would be left if compensation was not provided. For transparency and documentation, this matter was appropriately reported to VRBO for review. Regarding the location, the home is located in an urban area within Trinity Groves, a developing neighborhood close to downtown Dallas. We understand that city environments are not a fit for every guest, and we always encourage guests to ask questions about the neighborhood in advance to ensure it aligns with their expectations. We appreciate the acknowledgment that the home itself was beautiful, and we continuously work to improve our guest experience. Future guests are always welcome to reach out prior to booking or during their stay so we can ensure the property is the right fit and promptly address any concerns.
