Perfect spot for our group of 6! More than enough dishes/silverware etc. the house was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was a business trio for my sales guy! James was awsome very accomidating and if we have guys in that area again we would defiantly be booking with James! Property was exceptional very clean& close to everything !

Great stay! Clean and comfortable and inviting interior. Very convenient fenced in backyard for our dog. James is a gracious, generous host. I highly recommend this property.

The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The home was more beautiful than the pictures could show. There was a wonderful selection of curated books, games and artwork. The kitchen supplies were high quality and everything worked. The check in process was simple and the communication was prompt and thorough. Having such a lovely place to come to after exploring Chicago contributed greatly to our family's time together.

A perfect place to house groomsmen for our son’s wedding. We had 7 adults on the house. The dining and living areas were perfect for hanging out to enjoy time together. Proximity to lots of restaurants and grocery store was very convenient. The beds were comfortable, fans in every room and a well functioning AC system. Used the iron and ironing board in the basement to ensure the fellas looked sharp. Appreciated the extra towels and washcloths as we took multiple showers after our day tripping adventures in the Chicago humidity. We flew in/out of Midway which was only 40 mins away. Charming neighborhood, would stay here again!

Lovely Home

This was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend a long baseball weekend. We were close to the ball fields my grandson was playing on. Lockport is a cute little town. We felt safe in this location. We commuted about 45 min to downtown Chicago to visit several tourist attractions. The house has a full kitchen, nice dining room and living room. Everything in the house was clean and in good shape. We definitely will be staying here again for future tournaments or Chicago visits!

The host responsiveness was unbelievable. The refrigerator stopped working in the middle of our first night there -- a Saturday. He had a replacement solution before noon on Sunday. Everything was clean and in order. Very good Wi-Fi. A local host who really wants to get things right.

Everything with the property was perfect. The location made it easy to walk to downtown Lockport and also was a short drive to the Joliet Prison where we held our event!

We were so happy with our stay here. The house was so beautiful clean and laid out in such a way that it was comfortable for our family. It was a last minute rental for my mother's funeral with family coming in from several States. The host was very accommodating and quick to answer messages. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were all kinds of little extra niceties, like hair dryers, shampoo and body wash and all the other extra little things in the kitchen that you use that you don't think you need till you get there. James made things easy so it was one less thing we had to worry about during our difficult time. And this rental made it easy for the family to be together with plenty of beds and sitting areas, inside and out, for visiting

The house is in a great location if you are in the area. The neighborhood is walkable and even walking to the lovely downtown area is just a few blocks. The house is nicely appointed and is well stocked with TVs in every bedroom, as well as the living room area. The bathrooms are on the small side, but totally functional. One of the baths with a shower is downstairs, so some guests will need to carry their toiletries downstairs if you have multiple people getting ready for an event at the same time. The water quality seemed good and will not negatively affect your hair and skin etc., as is the case in some small towns. Towels were plentiful, with darker washcloths for makeup removal. Air conditioning and fans in each room were greatly appreciated. The living room and dining room have plenty of seating. If you are in to architecture, there is a lovely large school building across the street being renovated. (We had some building nerds in our group who loved investigating, talking to workmen and neighbors about the project). Our understanding that it is only a summer project, and does provide some nuisance in terms of noise, dodging heavy machinery when exiting the driveway, and fencing that stretches into the street, but is temporary hopefully. The host is very professional and responsive. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, and think it is great place for a gathering. I would book it again if ever in the area.
