The property met the needs of our girls weekend. Comfortable setting and could not hear the any noise from the highway close by. When we needed something, the property manager responded immediately. Thanks for the stay.

My only concern was trying to find the WiFi password. The password was on the router, and it was very long, and I messed it up a few times. My only recommendation to the host is to change the WiFi password and have it posted on the cork board

the cookware needs upgrade; was concerned that gas cooking top did not have vent as required in most states as it is a potential danger; disturbed by printed request in master bedroom to place used toilet paper in waste basket as toilet frequently clogs. fortunately it did not in our stay. the house is enormous but lacks comfortable chairs for viewing tv in all rooms.On Positive side: host Nico was quick to accommodate us after our home lost power during a tornado. this was very important and literally life-saving as my wife requires electricity for her oxygen concentrators. Nicoand his wife responded quickly to all of our needs.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic, with plenty of great food options nearby and an easy drive to all the places we wanted to visit in the area. The property itself was comfortable and just what we needed. The owner was very responsive and quick to address a couple of very minor issues that came up, which made the stay even smoother. Overall, highly recommend this property for both convenience and hospitality.

Kids feet were literally black within 5 min of arrival. Not nearly enough towels and bathtub was dirty. Not for young kids. Not nearly enough railings on staircase to second floor and balcony. Was not decorated at all like pictures. Landscaping needed significant work. Squirrals in walls of second floor making quit a racket. Host did not supply code to get in until I asked for it not incorrect wifi info either.

In the middle of December, during a snowfall, the log cabin feel of the house was perfect. It was warm and welcoming. Nico was great to work with, he was very attentive and answered all my questions promptly. Although we weren't able to partake in any outside activities, the house is large enough for a family to enjoy a special occasion dinner, or a night of pizza and rowdy board games.

Great cabin in Mokena!

Check in and check out was easy! The location in Mokena is near many great restaurants downtown Chicago isn’t too far. Nico was very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend this location!

Great location

Stayed here while we were in town for my son’s first birthday. Very clean and spacious home. Excellent location. Nico was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Nico’s place had plenty of space and everything you need for your stay. Traveled with 3 adults and 3 16 year old boys and had no issues. Nico responded instantly with any questions. Would def stay again.

Spacious house with awesome host!

Our group of 6 older adults very much enjoyed our stay in this surprisingly large and immaculately clean cabin. We had a plumbing and an appliance issue during our stay, but the owner (Nico) responded and resolved the problem immediately both times. Could not ask for a better host!!! We would definitely stay at this property again!

The property was unique and ended up working out well for our 6 night stay. Ultimately we were happy with the stay but there are definitely things that could make this stay a little less frustrating. We found that there were no hand towels, only 6 bath towels with 6 people staying (a couple more would have been better) and no pods for the dishwasher (and they require you to wash dishes before you leave - but no pods). The screen door handle was broken, so could not pull door shut tight. It got pretty hot upstairs with the hot and humid weather. In the master bath, they do not want you to flush any toilet paper down the toilet (very european I guess). So no #2 in there! The only thing that I felt was a bit misleading was the sleeping layout upstairs. It was not clear that the 3rd bedroom is up in the loft and the extra bed is in the loft area outside that bedroom - so one person sleeps out in the open up there. That's fine for a single family but our situation had people together who had not met before. It just would have been better to know that up front. The pics and description do not give you those specifics. A small amount of TLC and attention to details would make this stay much better, and as I stated - this property did, in fact, meet our needs. Thank you.

The host didn't seem inattentive. The house was extremely dusty which caused my allergies to flair up badly. I couldn't clean up the dust because I had to take care of my husband who needed a kidney. I had to leave a day before early because of the dust. The windows has a lot of spider web's.

Perfect Home for Our Needs

We came to Mokena for a Memorial Service. This home had 3 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so we were able to fit 2 couples and one single. The five of us were able to comfortably fit in kitchen and living room. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for cooking. The location was central to shopping and the area we had to travel to for the service. Niko was quick to answer our questions and great to work with.

If you need a place to stay that is quiet and has AC it’s a fine property. We wouldn’t stay here again for a couple reasons: -There was no welcome email. I had to contact the host on arrival day to get the door code. Not a big issue, but didn’t inspire confidence. - Because there was no welcome email we could not access the wifi. One of the reasons we rented this home is because we have a baby cam. I reached out to the host three different times asking for the wifi details, but he didn’t answer until the morning. Additionally, the home has very limited cell service, so wifi was essential for communication with family.-I have stayed in many vacation rentals and all of them have had extras of soap, detergent, paper towel etc. This rental had no extra soap, no detergent, one roll of paper towels and the exact amount of trash bags for our stay. Luckily we have extra bags for soiled diapers, but it seemed a little stingy. On check out I went to load the dishwasher and start it, but there was no dishwashing detergent. This was below a budget hotel in terms of soaps, towels and not even any lotions. -Light bulbs were out, water faucets didn’t work and many door locks were broken. Overall the stay was fine because there were no other choices for us to move to that were close to family.

Super place

The house is quite large, very roomy, very clean, and unique southwestern type architecture. Very impressive. I think this place was under promised and over delivered which is wonderful. I'd give 6 stars if I could. 3 friends came to Chicago to visit some military museums. All went well with those visits. Then we noticed some military things at the house next door! The guy next door has a museum under construction! We walked next door and met the very nice owner. Great visit. Good time in Chicago area.
