Great place to stay if you are looking for a rustic feel, beautiful scenery, and very peaceful time. No AC so definitely hot in the summer, which was tough on our dog who doesn’t do super well with high heat, but the place cools down some at night and we were there in the heat of the summer. If it was a little cooler out, would have been perfect!The property is stunning! Hot tub and game room are awesome, clean and well kept!

The privacy was great! No crowds or noise and sleeping was a breeze. Only a 30 minute drive to Colorado Springs and another 15 up to Strawberry Park Hot Springs :)

We loved this little cabin it was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. The view was beautiful, so peaceful, the hot tub was also perfect! Very clean with all the needed essentials! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us, we definitely will be back one day.
It had just rained a little bit and this beautiful sky showed up and out for us!

You can have it all!

This cabin and property is remote and beautiful and the epitome of outdoor living. Yet inside are just enough creature comforts to feel at home. They've done a great job with the cabin and we had the propeety and hot tub to ourselves (all under the watchful eye of a local doe.) Would come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cabin. During our stay, we spent time in Steamboat Springs, visited Dumont Lake twice and our 4 month old puppy took his first swim in a lake there. While visiting Fish Creek Falls we got to see a mother moose and her 2 very large calves. They were about 20 feet off the trail in dense trees eating leaves and never saw us. There are tons of wildflowers in bloom around the cabin and also Dumont Lake.We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

The Trapper Cabin is rustic with modern appliances. The bath is functional and well-maintained. The kitchen area has basics to prepare all your meals there. There is space for two but I wouldn’t have wanted to try to squeeze in a third. We kept a lot of our things in our truck to give us room to move around inside. We didn’t use the common area “Hitching Post” but the guest next door seemed to enjoy it. The cabins are pretty close together so we were closer to our neighbors than we expected but it didn’t cause any issues with noise. Overall, it was a good stay for us.

This little cabin was very cozy and perfect my wife and I for our 9th anniversary trip. We had a great time exploring the Steamboat Springs area, especially Stagecoach Reservoir and Stawberry Park Hotsprings. The cabin is close to everything without being in the middle of anything, so it provided a very peaceful retreat after long days of adventuring. We'll be back agian!

Everything was as described, internet wasn’t working at first but they responded super quick to get it up and running. Great communication and a great stay!
