Experience the charm of Coldspring, TX in our Nana-styled, sweet 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house built in 1939 and located just one block from the Courthouse square. Check your Coldspring calendar for the many weekend events scheduled throughout the year around the square.
With 2 comfortable queen beds, 1 single twin, 1 trundle twin bed, 1 full bed, and 1 king bed, this adorable property offers a cozy retreat for guests. Enjoy your early morning coffee and breakfast on the back porch, sit on the porch swing and listen to the various local birds sing you a morning tune.

Plan your get-away week-end retreat, ladies shopping weekend, girlfriend's slumber/pajama party, family reunion, or bible retreat. We believe you will enjoy your stay at our place.

Arrived to a well stocked and finely decorated comfortable home with antique charms in every space. SO MANY PILLOWS!! Some unique items to peruse and enjoy in each room. Newly updated spacious bathrooms and kitchen. Comfortable beds (Have I mentioned? SO MANY PILLOWS!!) Plenty of bed space for a crowd of 9. May not fit a crib or playpen for smaller children. Ours were older for the beds. Quiet, close to restaurants, shopping for a small community, and entertainment. Loved the place and its charm. Joan the host and manager went out of the way before and during our stay to see that we were comfortable. Provided games for the kids and adults, No WiFi or TV, so plan to spend time knowing one another(never a bad thing). I can’t imagine more hospitality. . I would definitely stay there again and hope to do so.

Joannie, our host, is the sweetest and most considerate person you could ever hope to meet. My sisters and I stayed in this home while visiting our sister who lives in Texas, who has had cancer. We had not seen each other since 2016, so it was a long overdue reunion. Joannie provided so many thoughtful extras, spring water in the refrigerator, delicious coffee and creamers, treats and goodies. There are so many shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and many toiletry essentials throughout the bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked, and we used it a lot while we were there. The home is spacious, and I have to say the pictures on VRBO are wonderful, but even so, they just don't do this place justice. This home is absolutely amazing. You could spend all day just walking around, looking at all of the wonderful treasures throughout the home. And the home has such a comfortable feel. The beds were wonderful, the sofas and loveseats were super comfortable, there's lots of seating in the kitchen, and we were able to play card games and board games at the large kitchen table. I look forward to staying here again! This is definitely the place that I want to have a family reunion with all my sisters and my sister's family. I cannot say what a wonderful, wonderful time we had. Thank you, Joannie, from the bottom of our hearts for making the time that we spent in your home so very special.

The hubby and I grew up in and around the Houston, TX area. We love hunting for, finding, rehabbing, painting, refurbishing and preserving antiques. We enjoy visting old homes, and old towns where the locals have lived generation after generation and have preserved that old Country town charm. We found the closed down medical clinic building in Coldspring that was for sale. Soon, we had a vision. We bought it and worked on it for a solid 3 years before we could call it a cozy, comfortable place to relax. It's been a working project. Today, as we continue to find cute antiques and unique items, we will update or switch out pieces here and there. Its truly been a labor of love.

Our 1939 cottage is cozy, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The decor is beautiful, unique, and interesting. You'll see a little of everything from days past. As you first walk into the cottage, you will likely feel like taking a deep, cleansing, relaxing breath as you will feel as though you've stepped back in time, perhaps into your Nana's home in the Country.
