Was a perfect home away from home. Had to rent in an emergency basis due to mom being life flughted to UTmB. Host was very accommodating and the place was perfect. Will be staying in the future.

We had a wonderful family weekend away in Galveston. The house is perfectly located, it is spacious and offers all you could possibly want for a beach getaway. Close to Stewart beach and lots of places to eat and drink. Karen was a fabulous and helpful host, responded to all my questions so quick it was much appreciated. Most responsive host I've ever had when staying at a VRBO. Cannot rate this place enough.

Found my forever place to stay when I visit my home town every year .I'm from Galveston and I will say .This has the perfect location . Beach .. strand..right in the heart of it all .The place was clean .Had alot extras ..love the outside setup . Beautiful home .Karen is so nine ..attentive ..Will definitely use the home again next June ...maybe sooner

Kitchen water faucet. Didn’t get hot. Back patio stairs are a little rickety. I do owe for a pillow. Send me a receipt. Somehow. I ended up with a little puncture wound on my hand during the night and bled on the pillow.Love place overall.. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Hi Jo. So glad you enjoyed your stay. I wish you had reached out about the kitchen faucet. It does get hot but you have to push it the other way. Sorry you ended up hurting your hand but appreciate you letting me know about the pillow i will make sure i replace it. I was there a week ago and did go up the back steps and they were very sturdy but i will certainly take another look. Hope you consider staying with us next time you are in Galveston.

This is a thoroughly excellent pet-friendly location for a family of 4 to 6. We spent half our time at the beach and the other half downtown and this was the perfect in between location.Something else to note, we cooked several meals in their excellent kitchen and enjoyed their back porch immensely. The dogs especially loved the porch and backyard.We recommend both this property and the super friendly owner for helping us enjoy our spring break trip!

Matthew and his family were great guests to host. They communicated well and took great care of my property. There was a slight mishap that happened and they alerted me immediately and took responsibility. Would not hesitate to host them again, Look forward to see you and your dogs on your next visit to Galveston

I loved this vrbo because we were able to use all the amenities of the house and we were able to get to the beach easily. The host was easy to talk to and helped when we had questions. The gas grill was great even if we had to buy propane for it because it was out. I was greatful there was some many towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, and kitchen items wer could use and then wash in the wash dryer and dishwasher. I wish we had more time in the house to enjoy the porch, bar, and backyard. We did borrow the beach umbrellas for our beach day and they worked great. One small note that some of the outlets in the walls did not work or we could not plug into. I think there is a breaker or a switch to get them to work but I did not know where it was so we only use the outlets that worked. The beds were very comfortable and the couch bed was decent but needed comforters on it to not feel the springs. I like the bathrooms and the down stairs outside shower that has a door to give privacy.I would rent from here again.

Hi Ruth. Thank you for your feedback. So glad you enjoyed the property and i look forward to hosting you again next time you visit the island. I will certainly look at the breaker for the outlets, I am sure that is what it must be as the electrical is new. Will see what i can do to provide a topper for the sleeper sofa certainly want to make sure guests are comfortable. It was unfortunate you had to fill the propane tank. I do have it listed that i provide the grill not the propane and it was unfortunate it tank ran out while you were staying. Glad that you enjoyed the property and hopefully next time you can stay a little longer.

Karen was super responsive and helpful. The home was clean and had all the amenities you would need. They have thought of the extras. The decor was beautiful and very comfortable. Location of the house is great. Very close to the beach and to downtown. We would definitely stay again.
