The host always responded quickly to any questions that I had. Very spacious for our group. We enjoyed the game room, the porch and the big dining room table for playing board games!The check in process is very easy!

Beautiful property for an older home. Host has done a great job with the decor around the home. They have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and the host is very responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute home in the Baraboo area.

The house was clean and stocked with anything one could need. We had a great time exploring the area, and even enjoyed staying in the house in the evenings to relax.

Enjoyed my stay at this lovely home ,its decorated beautifully, has a great game room and is walking distance to Circus world and a short drive to Devil's lake where I took my pup on the hiking trails. The host was great quick to respond to any questions you might have. If you are looking for a place to stay in or near Baraboo I highly recommend you stay here you won't regret it.

This is a lovely home that had everything we needed for an enjoyable, cozy, and comfortable stay. It is close to two ski hills - Devils Head resort and Cascade Mountain.

Stayed here while visiting Devil's lake. Very convenient to the park and walkable to great spots to eat. Would return if I was in the area again!

Loved the Mound St. Retreat. Really appreciated how well maintained the property was and the labeling of all the drawers. The kids loved the game room, and the neighborhood was very walkable. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This was our third experience with VRBO rentals and the owners of this lovely house have thought of so many details! The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need to prepare meals and also offered coffee, tea and miscellaneous spices. The dining table was large enough to comfortably enjoy meals and conversation. There were many games available for rainy weather entertainment. The separate game room was a little tight for playing pool, but we were able to make it work. We also enjoyed the enclosed porch for morning coffee. Overall, it was a great stay and an easy walk to Circus World and as well as the downtown area. We did need to contact the owners during our stay about a concern, but they responded fairly quickly and we have reason to believe our concern will not be an issue for future renters.

Charming old house with modern updates and conveniences. Very clean and comfortable. Book nook in converted closet in tree room was a delight for my 7 yr old grandson. Well-equipped kitchen.

We loved out Stay here!!

We truly enjoyed our stay. We had a group of six. The parents and a 16, 11, 10 and 4 year old. They loved the house, game room and the fire pit. Communication was perfect. They have so much extra in the house. I encourage you to look around. There are games and needed supplies all over. We plan to visit at Christmas in the future and will rebook. I have included pictures. I didn’t take pictures for a review like I should have. These are just random pictures on my kids. My 4 year old found and enjoyed the drawing station!

The home is clean and decorated very well. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood where walking your dog is safe and enjoyable. We loved the enclosed sunroom! The only issues we had were the size of the bathrooms, no ice machine and the beds having footboards. We were traveling with 2 men that are 6 foot 6 and this caused issues as the bedrooms upstairs were too short for them. The downstairs bathroom they could BARELY use the toilet as their knees were in the wall. There is also ZERO counter space to put anything in the bathrooms. Also not having an ice maker was a little inconvenient. We really enjoyed our time here but maybe need to add this house is for guests on the smaller side and not anyone over 6 foot.
