Relax in the 3-person hot tub with sweeping views, then explore nearby wineries. Equidistant from the Oregon Coast, Columbia Gorge waterfalls, and Portland attractions, you’ll be perfectly situated to enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Perfect for your long weekend getaway or remote work retreat!

Inside, you’ll find a peaceful blend of modern comfort and spa-like amenities—Wake up to a crisp morning and valley views, then enjoy a morning coffee while soaking in the private hot tub surrounded by nature.

Whether you’re heading to the Silicon Forest, exploring the coastal beaches or Columbia River Gorge waterfalls (each about 1 hour away), or indulging in a wine tasting weekend, you’ll be perfectly positioned. Our home is also just a short drive from:

Ardiri, Dion, Sidereus, Oak Knoll, and Blizzard wineries
Hagg Lake & Chehalem Ridge Nature Park
Local wetlands for birdwatching and strolls
Portland, Hillsboro and other travel & professional attractions

We live upstairs. Please note there will be noise from above when we're home. (footsteps, voices and daily living). We try to be aware and respectful of this when guests are present. But obviously cannot eliminate it completely. There are also close by neighbors and while things are relatively serene most of the time. There may be lawnmowers, tractors or atv noises that occur from time to time.

My wife and I had a great mini getaway. Very peaceful with great views of the valley. The whole experience from booking to communication and checkout was top notch. You can tell the host put in great thought about this place. We did not need to leave. We both left feeling recharged and relaxed. Would definitely book again!

This property was amazing. Very comfortable, cozy place to stay. Views are great. It is a little bit out in the country but so worth the drive. The host April is very accommodating with all question and needs. We would definitely would stay again.

The location is beautiful and remote, about 20 minutes from shops. This basement apartment's design and decor are gorgeous.The host was quick to respond when I messaged her on the app.She will open the murphy bed for you ahead of time if you need it. Otherwise, she provides a YouTube video you can follow, which is what we did. It's short, and opening the bed was easy. (You do not need to close the bed upon your departure.) I personally needed these detailed instructions that we did not have ahead of time: When you arrive, park to the right before the stairs that lead down the side of the house. Walk down those steps. Just to the right of the sliding glass door, there is a black digital lockbox. Touch it, and it will light up so you can enter the code and press the checkmark. Once inside, lock the door by pushing the handle toward the glass. (I guess I've only lived in older homes or not those recently remodeled. lol)It's customary to start a load of laundry of sheets/towels when you're getting ready to depart a rental property, but I was a little confused on how to dispense the All laundry detergent, as it wasn't a typical screw-cap situation on the bottle. Therefore, I wasn't sure how much to use, but I did my best. I guessed at what settings to use on the fancy washing machine, as well. My Samsung at home seems simpler, probably because it's older...or because I am. :)We loved that the bedroom had a king bed, and it was comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

This is the perfect spot to be near everything in the Portland area, but also to have privacy, gorgeous views, and the peace of nature. It’s a beautiful and refreshing getaway - everything is exactly as described, well equipped, and the host is on top of it. We are grateful we found this place!
