Great place to stay! Host was very helpful, the lift was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. Highly recommend!

The loft is modern and clean. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. Perfect stay for 1 or 2 people. Location was perfect for me for access to Henry Hagg Lake and a short drive to Forest Grove for groceries. The kichette provides a toaster oven which is fantastic for reheating pre-cooked meals, meats etc. Simple way to vacation. Less complicated. The deck looks out at some beautiful scenery and all you hear at night is the crickets.Host is quick to reply and very friendly, my kind of people!!

The Apartment in Gaston is in the loft of a converted barn. But don't let "loft" or "barn" put you off, it is a very nice property. Jill and Charlie operate a tree farm and there are trees everywhere on the property giving off the friendly impression of being in a forest. The living space itself has a nice deck overlooking the property with an easterly view, affording a nice sunrise over the ridge in the distance. Gaston (which frankly heretofore I had never heard of!) is a nice spot about 40-50 miles west of Portland, and a good spot from which to explore the scenic rolling hills of the area. It's only slightly more than an hour to the coast, maybe 90 minutes to Astoria, and minutes away from vineyards. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. The kitchenette has enough to make coffee and toast, and store some items in the refrigerator. Try to make the acquaintance of a friendly black and white cat who prowls the grounds; he (she?) is very friendly and playful. Definitely would return!
